Smart move, why did they make the switch to Tuesdays this season anyway?

  • John

Good thing they are moving it because I don’t want to choose between Big Brother and America’s Got Talent.

  • SJ

I don’t know why this wasn’t the plan all along… Just out of curiosity, where was NCIS: LA supposed to repeat? Thursdays at 9?

  • Chris

Agree with you, John. This is a much better way to schedule Big Brother based on the way CBS’s fall schedule is laid out. Just remember, this week it will still air tonight and the live eviction will still air tomorrow. It’s next week when this change takes effect.

  • Cath

Good. Now I don’t have that conflict with So You Think You Can Dance.

  • Austin

I didn’t even realize Big Brother was on tonight.

  • Topper

@SJ NCIS: LA was supposed to repeat Tuesdays at 10

  • Andrew

I like it better on Thursdays because it seems more spaced out and not a huge gap between the week.

  • DenverDean

Yeah, I called this weeks ago. What was the point of moving LA to 10 Tuesday? While they have a great opportunity to establish POI there since NBC is too dumb to move CF there first, which has been crushed by CSI (R) all summer. NBC should move CF so it can get sampled in new time slot with AGT as lead-in. Dump Betty White or move that to Wed.

  • BenA

    @DenverDean,

CF repeat will air after a repeat of AGT tomorrow.

  • CBSviewer

    Exactly what I Predicted :)

  • CBSviewer

I think CBS scheduled Big Brother on Tuesday at 9 because they thought NCIS: Red would take the slot in the fall.

I’m glad they moved BB back to a Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday schedule. Tuesday for the show just not make any sense when the night already had the net’s two of the best repeat performers in NCIS and NCIS LA. Now, PoI fans can get used to its new Tuesday fall timeslot, and they can pimp the new Thursday comedy block heavily during the Thursday eviction show. Hell, I wish CBS would have went all in and did this on Thursday:

    8:00 TBBT
    8:30 BB
    9:30 TAAHM
    10:00 Elementary

They could promote it as “Big Thursday”, and it would really prime the pump for the fall schedule.

  • Hardline_Pro

Will they just cancel this show already? The players this season are scumbags.

  • Petar

POI(still Person of interest not PRISM of interest) will be big next season. Episode 1 from season 3 will be name ‘liberty’ and i think all season will be connected with NSA revelations. Good move with reruns on its new time slot. But move was mistake. POI now is the most buzz and hos CBS drama.

  • John

Probably was the plan all along. I’m guessing they just didn’t want to air BB this 4th of July Thursday.

  • omabin

Great move, I have no idea why this wasn’t done all along

  • Melanie P.

@Hardline_Pro, keep on dreaming! BB is cheap to produce anyways, so I don’t see it being cancelled anytime soon.

Glad they put BB back in the original Thursday live eviction spot. I had to look at the schedule to remember it was coming on tonight.

  • Dan

Looks like CBS wants to get a jump start on their new likely dominating Tuesday lineup.

  • K

It still will be going up against Masterchef, and for the next couple weeks, probably Hells Kitchen as well.
