TNT Orders Fourth Season of Epic Series Falling Skies,

Basic Cable's #1 Summer Drama with Key Adult Demos

Noah Wyle Stars in Series from DreamWorks Television

And Executive Producer Steven Spielberg

TNT has ordered a fourth season of Falling Skies, the epic drama produced by DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg and starring Noah Wyle. Currently airing Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Falling Skies is averaging 5.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery and ranks as basic cable's #1 scripted series with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the summer-to-date. TNT plans to launch the 10-episode fourth season in summer 2014.

Falling Skies tells the extraordinary tale of life and survival in the wake of a catastrophic alien invasion. Wyle plays Tom Mason, a college professor who becomes an unlikely resistance leader after a massive invasion by an alien force. The series also stars Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Connor Jessup, Maxim Knight, Seychelle Gabriel, Mpho Koaho, Colin Cunningham and Sarah Carter. Among the guest stars this season on Falling Skies are Gloria Reuben, Robert Sean Leonard, Stephen Collins and Doug Jones.

Falling Skies premiered in summer 2011 and ranked as basic cable’s #1 new series of the year. The series returned with strong numbers last year, averaging 5.6 million viewers in Live + 7 and ranking as basic cable's #1 summer drama with adults 25-54.

In addition to Spielberg, season 3 of Falling Skies is executive-produced by DreamWorks Television heads Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, along with Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman.

    @The End,

    They don’t read all the comments. Try commenting @Robert Seidman or @Bill Gorman to get their attention.

    @The End,

    I’m not an admin, so I can’t do anything more than you can.

  • The End

    Nice try. So you’re the troll ghosting my name. That’s all I needed to know, nice to put a name to the troll anyway. Even if the admin won’t stop you from doing this.

  • The End

    That wasn’t me who aimed that comment at you. If anything I was sat waiting for him to comment again.

    As said earlier, I’m done with this topic.

  • The End

    Whoever you are, ghosting my name commenting multiple times. You do realize that your IP address is visible to the admin here right? I don’t know who you are, or what I’ve done to offend you enough to troll/stalk me here but you seriously need to stop now. You’ve had your fun, you have no reason to copy my name and comment multiple times pretending to be me. Just give it a rest already.

    I would prefer that they try to film 12-13 episodes, but from what I understand the post-production on this show makes it pretty much prohibitive for them to film more than 10.

    I like the show even though it isn’t perfect, but it’s far and away the best true science fiction serial drama on TV right now. Mainly from a production standpoint.

    Hopefully when David Eick takes over as showrunner for season 4, the show and it’s writing will get better.

    Is Bill Gorman on vacation or still with TVbtN? I haven’t seen a comment or topic posted by him since about June 6th, coincidentally when a certain section was shut down.

  • The End

    Does anyone care enough to admin this websites comment section anymore? I have some kind of stalker commenting a dozen times, insulting some people and making a nuisance of himself in general by ghosting my name on this topic and no one seems to care enough to IP ban this idiotic troll. He’s already spoken up with his other alias ‘Walt’ though I suspect he might be someone else who I may of accidently offended in my time here.

    Haven’t a clue why I seem to attract the stalkers.

    @The End

    KarenM, get a life. All you’re doing is trashing a show. What are you doing, you biatch?

    :?: hello The End are you there :?:

  • Josh

    Oh I see now Good luck hopefully @Bill Gorman can shut that hacker down!

    Falling Skies hit bottom last weekend when the characters essentially did nothing but talk about their feelings for over 30 minutes. That ground has been plowed numerous times and having endless dialogues about the same issue is becoming tedious. I’m amazed they didn’t have Dr. Phil guest star. Simply put, even if someone missed the entire program, they’d still have no difficulty understanding what happens in the next installment. Scifi plays to a niche market and the inability of the writers to keep a coherent storyline moving along is taking a toll on Falling Skies.

    Glad to see this, but I wish they would make it 15 episodes, 10 is not enough

    Season Finale was awesome! The alien baby storyline just made it must watch for summer 2014!

  • Bill

    I think I’m done with this show. What a crappy season finale. The cheesy alien baby storyline is horrible. There are just too many gaps in the show to ignore. They take 2 steps forward and 3 steps backwards in almost every episode. Why watch a show go backwards?

    I will have to wait a year for next season? omg…
