Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Word of advice to CBS: Air TBBT back to back on mondays to give Dome a sizeable lead in

  • Ram510

Why did the networks launch so many dramas at 10? NBC could’ve put Siberia on Tuesdays instead

It seems Mistresses has built a fanbase now hopefully word of mouth can help the show grow. It’s fun television. If ABC doesn’t keep it maybe Lifetime could pick it up, this show should be on for more than 1 season

  • Alan

Ouch UTD! I hope it gets adjusted up.

  • JoshuaCanada

It was Canada day last night, so I DVR’d UTD and watched it after. I watched Siberia online last week. Monday nights are a good night for summer TV. I just wish UTD and Siberia were not on at the same time, especially with all the holes in the summer.

  • Samuel

Still good for under the dome. Better than most summer shows.

I actually thought siberia was some kind of new survivor… 1.1 Is not that bad for a summer show anyway.

  • Cerebro

“Under The Dome” may be down from the premiere, but a 2.8 and 11.5 million viewers are still fantastic numbers for a summer series. It’s miles ahead of what “Hawaii Five-0″ was doing in the same slot during the regular season.

  • Christian

    I loved Under the Dome!
I was hoping I would love Siberia just as much, but after 25 minutes of absolutely nothing special happening in the episode, I started to lose faith. When something finally did happen, I looked up from the computer and said to myself “I spent an hour waiting for THAT!?”

I will continue to watch Siberia for a few more episodes, but only if they make quicker progress. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of my time.

  • Dennis

    Skins did well foe e4…

over double of what Revenge had been doing recently … decent enough start to the series too.

  • Dan

But my prediction for Siberia was about right. I said 1.1-1.3 and of course it got the lowest but I’m sure while it will last all summer. It won’t last another season.

  • Charmed

Why are three summer dramas all packed into the same hour? It’s not like there’s nowhere else to put them.

  • Charmed

@Dennis What does Skins or E4 for that matter have to with a website about US ratings?

I didn’t say Kimberly was wrong for giving her opinion! That is not wrong but the content of the opinion I don’t agree with! Her opinion is her opinion and can’t be wrong but I disagree with it even though I said she was wrong but didn’t say she was wrong for giving her opinion.

    But that’s just your opinion. ;-) :-)

  • Matt

Siberia wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I enjoyed The River and this is in vein of that. I don’t see it lasting more than this season so hopefully it will wrap up nicely. However, I do wish it was on a different day or time. Also nice exposure for Joyce Giraud who is going to be the new cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season.l

  • HT

I haven’t seen UTD but I know ABC would kill to have those numbers for Revenge in winter.

  • HalCapone

If you like Under The Dome, read the book by Stephen King. It’s not his best work but it would make a great summer read. More importantly, it’s a lot better than the tv show (which is mediocre but not awful…and it is a lot better than Revolution). As an added bonus, you will actually create brain cells reading vs a passive activity like watching tv.

Ratings typically decline after premiers–no surprise there, but there wasn’t any male-oriented competition this time either (like Lord Stanley’s Cup) to account for a steep decline like this. My fan excuse bingo entry is: typical nursing home age CBS viewers tuned in for the premier thinking it was a Crime Broadcasting Syndicate cop procedural remake of Kojak (famous for his “dome”) but they can’t wrap their feeble minds around science fiction and fantasy so resumed drooling and staring at the ceiling for a few hours.

  • HalCapone

Yeah, most networks would pleased with high 2’s during the regular season as the bar goes lower each year. And yeah, ABC would love to have those numbers for Revenge in the Winter as much as CBS would for The Good Wife. Football tackles all in it’s path so it’s silly comment.

  • Jacobo

How do you quote on this thing?

Anyways, Halves for Under The Dome

    10:00 PM

    CBS – Under the Dome
    Viewers: 11.502 million, A18-49: 2.9/8
    10:30 PM

    CBS – Under the Dome
    Viewers: 11.531 million, A18-49: 2.8/8

  • Psac

Shame that Goodwin Games ended this way. With some decent promotion, not a summer burnoff, and a reshot pilot (holy F did the show get SO much better!!!), it could have had a good chance to succeed.

  • Dennis

Slight increase in second half hour which is always a positive :D

  • BigBrotherFan

Mistresses- If it can maintain a 1.2-1.4 think ABC may bring it back again? I mean that show with that old hag Dana Delany was renewed prior with these kind of numbers and it was a fall show.

Mistresses is doing way better than FLOPannibal atleast
