Univision #1 Broadcast Network For the Week and July Sweep to Date Among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of June 24 to June 30, 2013

  • For the week (M-SU) and July sweep to date, Univision was the #1 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. 

 

  • July Sweep to date, Univision has higher growth (+14%) than FOX (+11%), CBS (+5%), ABC (-21%), and NBC (-57%).

     

  • On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX in each demographic.   Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.
  • On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 5 for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision’s ranked as the #1 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 5 for Adults 18-49.

 ·         On Friday, Univision ranked as the #1 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both demographics.

 

  • Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked #2 among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 716,000 Adults 18-49, and 328,000 Adults 18-34. Also, it ranked among the top 5 programs of the evening among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision ranked #1 among Adults 18-49 and #2 among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, CBS and NBC in each demographic.  Also, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for both demographics.

  

ü Airing at 8:24 p.m., “Parodiando” averaged 2.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 472,000 Adults 18-34. 

 

ü  Following “Parodiando” at 9:54 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 2.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 966,000 Adults 18-49, and 352,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  The novela averaged 4.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.0 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  “Amores Verdaderos” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.6 Million, +4%), Adults 18-49 (2.4 Million, +5%), and Adults 18-34 (1.2 Million, +5%).

 

  • Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Que Bonito Amor” (Beautiful Love) helped Univision rank as the #3 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.   The novela increased over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.7 Million, +6%), Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million, +8%), and Adults 18-34 (830,000, +4%).

UniMás is Over-Delivering its Prior Season Performance Among Total Viewers 2+ and     Adults 18-49

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of June 24, 2013 to June 30, 2013

 

  • UniMás reported double digit audience growth on Friday night over its previous Friday performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%), Adults 18-49 (+37%), and Adults 18-34 (+28%).

ü  The three hour movie presentation “Cineplex: Piratas del Caribe: Fin del Mundo” delivered 383,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), 220,000 Adults 18-49 (+22%) and 133,000 Adults 18-34 (+23%) compared to last Friday’s “X-Men 2.”

ü  “Republica de la Copa” grew versus its prior Friday performance among Total Viewers 2+ (261,000, +47%), Adults 18-49 (169,000, +63%), and Adults 18-34 (97,000, +59%).

  • UniMás’ Saturday night movie presentation and “Republica de la Copa” also reported gains versus the prior Saturday among Adults 18-49 (to 297,000, +5%) and Adults 18-34 (to 156,000, +6%).
  • On Sunday night UniMás posted double-digit percentage gains compared to last Sunday among Total Viewers 2+ (676,000, +32%), Adults 18-49 (391,000, +43%), and Adults 18-34 (199,000, +53%).  
  • In the current 2012/2013 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2011/2012 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%) during broadcast prime. 
  • UniMás attracted 416,000 Total Viewers 2+, 226,000 Adults 18-49, and 115,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
