    Wow both programs were amazing

OVER 10 MILLION FOR THE GAME?! The CW could never get those numbers.

  • Alan

This show is a huge hit! Who would think that a ex-CW show could hit that numbers?

  • Lucas

10 million for The Game and the movie! Not just for The Game.

  • JJ

The BEST thing BET could have done was resurrect The Game. Great numbers for both series.

  • Qaz

Yeah this is a very misleading press release.
    The numbers are actually…
Being Mary Jane – 4.0 Million
    The Game – 3.5 Million
With the rest made up from repeat viewings I assume.
Pretty impressive for BET, but not what this press release seems to think.

Also their “cable’s #1 Returning Weeknight Sitcom on ALL Cable among Total Viewers” claim seems off too. Rizoli and Isles had much higher numbers if you compare original airings

  • Dre

    R & I isn’t a sitcom.

  • B

both shows were great! especially being mary jane. i hope this series will be a turning point for the network and they offer more quality scripted programming…

  • RyanCanada

FYI there combining both shows numbers,. lol

  • William

I really enjoyed both shows, wish the Networks would bring Black programming back to the air. I also wish Tyler Perry knew how to write shows like this, most of his shows are ok- but the acting leaves much to be desired.

  • Justin121

The CW would kill for ONE-FIFTH of that number.

    Wow.

  • Justin121

    Make that ONE-TENTH.

One million has become a feat for CW these days.

  • Derrick

The Repeats of the first, second and third season of The Game got more viewers than the original first airing of those episodes on the CW.

It shows that the problem isnt the programming on the CW, but the promotion.

  • GFFan

    Now for a Girlfriends movie!!
