ABC Extends Digital Window For New Primetime Drama “Mistresses

ABC Entertainment’s Digital Media team is making the full season to date of ABC’s primetime drama “Mistresses” available today through July 22, 2013 on WatchABC.com and the WATCH ABC app, which is free on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Kindle Fire and select Android devices.

“’Mistresses’ has been one of our most popular shows on WATCH ABC this summer,” said Karin Gilford, senior vice president of Digital Media, ABC Entertainment Network. “We think as more people begin to discover the show, they’ll want to catch up on previous episodes.”

Ratings for the summertime drama series hit a four-week high with last night’s episode. “Mistresses” airs Monday nights at 10:01-11:00 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.

Disney/ABC Television Group’s revolutionary WATCH ABC app makes up to five of the most recent full episodes of ABC’s daytime and primetime programming available on demand nationwide, and also delivers a live 24/7 stream of the ABC Television Network to authenticated pay TV subscribers, beginning in New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Raleigh Durham.

Mistresses” stars Alyssa Milano as Savannah (“Savi”) Davis, Yunjin Kim as Karen Kim, Rochelle Aytes as April Malloy, Jes Macallan as Josslyn Carver, Brett Tucker as Harry Davis, Jason George as Dominic Taylor and Erik Stocklin as Sam Grey. The series is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with 5.1 channel surround sound.

excellent show.i want to hear the news ‘ABC renews Mistresses for a second season’ soon.all their summer shows drop below 0.9. This show has been holding on to 1.2 rating steadily.it should be enough for abc considering it is a summer series.come on abc.renew it!

I’m a guy, but I really like the show. The chemistry with the ladies is solid and Milano is a good lead. It’s obviously a soap geared more to women, but I think there is some elements that can appeal to men. I’d like to see it gain more viewers through this online promotion.

I am trying to like this show. I love Alyssa Milano, but something is missing. I am surprised to see so many good comments.

I am addicted to this show. I wish the ratings were a bit better. I’m crossing my fingers we get a second season.

Love this show .. I hope they renew it. I hate how they are always cancelling shows before they have the chance to get good. The first couple of episodes were a little hit and miss but now i love it! Love the story line from Harry and Savi

This is the first TV show that has interested me in years — it’s excellent. Excellent performances and chemistry all around. While some say the show got better over season one, I actually liked it very much from the beginning, and hope that some plot-lines, like the relationship between Joss and Alex, don’t get lost and forgotten. While the mystery and plot turns are exciting, I hope that strange twists don’t trump the depth of the relationships explored — they are what sets this show apart. … How do we learn whether Season 2 will be aired? And by when? I didn’t even realize there would be an interruption.
