In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Where are Monday finals?

  • POIFanatic

@The End: Who knows! They may or may not change it. But, judging by that ending, I think they will. I was planning on reading the book and bought it yesterday. Now frigging Mrs. Lincoln totally ruined it for me. I hate spoilers to anything that I’m interested in!

  • Guy

    What with Teen Wolf?

  • Juan

I have found no references at ALL suggesting UTD is anything more than a 13 ep mini-series that will end on Sept 16. Unless someone can provide otherwise this talk of renewal is nonsense. This is not the book. They were under the dome no more than a week in the book & in the CBS version it’s months. That’s one of many changes CBS has made to lengthen the story.

  • Nikki

Has anyone heard about the cable ratings yet?? I want to see how Switched did monday.. the episode was so good. On a side note i also heard ABCFamily plans to announce the back 9 order for The Fosters.. did anyone else see that?

  • POIFanatic

@Juan: What you know and what you are saying seems like you’re being a troll on purpose. Please read what you just said. CBS always said they’d bring it back next season if the ratings were good.

  • Andrew

    Oh Flop!

  • Juan

@POIF, you’re delusional. CBS has said no such thing. Provide some form of proof or shut up about it. Calling someone a troll doesn’t help your cause. It’s juvenile.

  • Andrew

Under The Door help up pretty well.

Oh $h@t! must what The CW executes say when they see the ratings for Oh Sit! and most of The CW lineup in general. I’ve got one thing to say about The CW network as a whole. Oh Flop!

  • rgxx

UTD was meant to be a mini-sereis NOT an on-going series…it’s good – but after a while people will get bored…it NEEDS to remain a mini-series / 1 season / 13 episodes … don’t drag out a good thing CBS

  • Nikki

Wow this is the longest ive ever waited for cable ratings??. Are they posting them or no?

  • Kissan

Where are the Monday cable and final ratings?

I just understand how UTD can get those ratings. It’s just plain horrible! I guess there just isn’t anything else to watch…
