Cult 1987 Poll

Tonight the final episode of Cult airs on the CW. The genre drama has hit a lowly 0.1 adults 18-49 at 9PM for the past two weeks. . But will it go the extra mile  tonight and hit a 0.0 adults 18-49 rating? It seems unlikely, but sooner or later a broadcast show will fail to generate enough viewers in the to merit even a tenth of a ratings point. It happens on cable channels all the time. Maybe tonight will be the night! Or maybe the show's few fans will rally and the show will go out with some dignity. Make your predictions!

I watch the show too. I am thinking it will get a .2 for both hours.

  • Dan

It will probably get a .2 CW should have just aired the episodes Fridays instead of pull the series, but after tonight they will be done with the show forever.

“viewers in the to merit ” ?!?!?!

  • Nicole

I LOVE THIS DAMN SHOW. I hate to see it gone after such an amazing and jaw dropping finale. With more advertisement this would have done a lot better. I love cult!!

@LovingLostGirl – I watched it this whole time too, though mostly because there isn’t much better scripted programming in the summer. I genuinely became invested in the the 2 episodes last week, but after watching the finale tonight… I hope it hits the lows everyone else is hoping for. That ending was a kick in the teeth to the (very) few who stuck around and watched every episode.

    At 8:00 0.2/ .62

    9:00 0.2/.54

It will not hit a 0. If anything will hit a 0 it would be Carrie repeat on a Friday Night as it Sure has come close Airing three times barely managing a 0.1 and 300k viewers and this is on a more viewed Monday Night!

See ya CULT but you will not make Network history scoring a 0 for an original episode!!!

    Such a good show too…

I NEED a season 2. The season finale left so many questions such as, why was the gun shot real.? Why did Kathy take the fun? And if Skye’s father is Steven Rae…….this is insane.

    @Jesse

[Oh yeah, spoiler warning for the one person who might care.]

Surely Cathy was Steven Rae…right? Wasn’t ‘he’ supposed to be on set? Though I suppose she could have just been working for him.

I did really enjoy the finale, I thought it was pretty strong. If anything, I feel like the initial marketing did not sell the show well. I mean, a character showing up for two seconds saying, “You’re next!” is going to make someone want to watch a show? Really? And to be fair, the middle of the season was a bit weak.

And of course, by no means did the ratings justify a renewal.

    It started out promising

This makes me sad, it may be low rated and pretty badly done but the story is pretty good and I hope they have some resolution.

  • Liz

I think Cathy is Steven too(“he” said he would be on set…). Skye’s father would be too obvious; I’ve been saying that since ep 6.
