  • Teen Wolf

Only date I care about is Sept. 20 as the rest of this ABC schedule can go to hell.

I really hope Neighbors tanks badly behind LMS. Should’ve never cancelled my girl Reba.

  • Greg

I liked the delayed premiere of OUATiW. That means ABC is planning to air the show for the entire season, considering how they already ordered additional episodes. We’ll see if they stick to that when the show inevitably fails, but I hope they do (not so much because I believe in the show – which sounds awful -, but because I’d hate to see another show being wasted there).

  • s0303

anyone else think an all new tuesday is a bad idea??? i just realized i don’t watch anything on abc anymore after giving up on ouat last year and shark tank after they moved it in grimms time slot…

  • networkman

I’m glad to see the Friday comedies premiering early. There isn’t really anything else besides newsmagazine and reality in that timeslot on the other networks. If need be, they can end their season late March or early April next year. The network is going for a double whammy with Grey’s Antomy getting strong numbers for its season premiere. And then the anticipated season premiere of Scandal will come the following week and also win the timeslot against Parenthood and Elementary.

  • Jack Bauer

September 23rd will be the toughest at 10 p.m.: CASTLE vs. THE BLACKLIST vs. HOSTAGES. May the best drama series win.

  • Chris J

I have a strange feeling SHIELD won’t premier as high as we’re all expecting, and it will eventually sink. I don’t think it’s a broad enough show for network TV, but we’ll see what happens.

  • Neil

Joss’s Biggest Fan will be stuck to his sofa on Tuesdays.

  • David

So pissed. Need to wait till October for the Scandal premier.

  • Chloe

Can any of you please predict the series premiere
for each of the abc shows.

  • Matt

@Chris J I agree… Just because people like the avengers film series doesn’t mean they will watch the show which is what abc is hoping for… I think it will tank along with most of the shows this year

  • Oliver

The early Friday premiere isn’t a surprise because ABC is comitted to their Friday block. The only reason their Friday comedies premiered late last season is because they wanted to use the CMAs to launch Malibu Country.

They have options if one or more comedies are DOA (e.g. bring in Suburgatory, reshuffle their comedies, kill the Tuesday block and bring back the DWTS results show etc).

    @Jack Bauer
Scandal vs Parenthood vs Elementary seems tougher to me.

  • Ram510

That’s F’d up! I have to wait until October for my Scandal!!! The wait is already excruciatingly painful!

And I wonder why ABC decided to air the Friday comedies early when they could’ve just aired 2 Shark Tanks?

None if ABC’s new dramas looked intriguing at all

  • joel

Whoa, ABC is working overtime this year. They’re only 3 weeks behind the latest premiere dates announcement from the other four networks instread of a full month.

  • Chastswin Resident

I can’t believe that ABC is holding Suburgatory for mid-season and The Neighbors gets a slot on the schedule. I really hope it premiers by November – hopefully to replace either Super Fun Night or Back in the Game which both look incredibly bland.

  • a p

I predict OUATIW will tank. I don’t think DWTS will show much improvement in numbers.

  • JoeHamm

    Some thoughts…

    1. ABC has the right idea launching DWTS one week before The Voice. Hope it works in their favor.

    2. It does seem a little early, the dates for LMS/Neighbors, but at least they’re relaunching Fridays in a reasonable fashion. Because of this, we can expect Great Pumpkin/Toy Story of Terror on 10/25, probably?

    3. The Goldbergs really deserves an hour-long premiere after SHIELD for the sake of Lucky 7. Trophy Wife really seems DOA, as is Back in the Game. I can guarantee Suburgatory will be back on Wednesdays in January.

    4. I’m expecting an OUAT recap show much like last year in the 7:00 hour 9/29. As for those first two thursdays, predicting for encores of SHIELD at 8:00.

    5. And finally, ABC neglected to mention the premiere of Saturday Night Football, almost like they refuse to recognize it as part of their lineup. It starts up again on August 31, btw.

  • Zapbob

ABC is the only network that seems to take a risk. S.H.I.E.L.D ….will be a hit!
OUAT/IW will also be successful. Also….Betrayal will surprise a lot of people.

  • harry

I think super fun night will be a huge flop. it wont even get a 2.0 after modern family.

  • Josh!

    i can’t wait for S.H.I.E.L.D!

  • Ronald

Lets hope hat OUATIW can do decent in it`s premiere, ir eally want to see that show go for a high!
but it`s hard going agains TBBT :s.
Grey`s two hours that`s surprinsing and for it`s ten season, OUAT and Revenge lets hope they bounce back to their old good times and ratings
