Pawn Stars  and Swamp People tied as Thursday's top cable program, each with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. Pawn Stars was down from last week's 1.4 adults 18-49. Swamp People was up from last week's 1.1  adults 18-49 rating .

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Thursday night's episode of a specific show

    SO HAPPY FOR TNA!

Finally their numbers are back to 1.5 million, they deserve it. They’ve been the better show for a while now between WWE and TNA. Great free PPV event that was 10x better than Money in the Bank. Great moment at the end with Chris Sabin winning the title. TNA should run free PPVs every 2 months.

Graceland actually held on from last week with a lower Burn Notice in front of it. I think Graceland is the network’s best show in years but USA should consider putting a repeat of NCIS, LA, or SVU in front of it instead of Burn Notice which seems incompatible with it. USA overall has fallen from grace and really struggling right now with their original series.

Anger Management was doing a lot better before the 4th. I would actually like to see it in a new timeslot to see if that’s the problem.

Sullivan & Son is a consistent beast, they need to give it an original partner.

Sam & Cat is a repeat monster. I think Nick and Disney actually don’t need to rely on live first-run ratings because their comedies repeat so well throughout the day.

    SHARKNADO!
I finally saw this yesterday and it lived up to the hype its amazing how its ratings grew for the repeat. I missed it b/c of TNA last week so I’m wondering if it was just those people watching other programming last week.

I don’t think it’s a copy error since Graceland’s ratings have been like this for at least 3~4 weeks (~2mil total viewers, 0.7~0.8 in demo). Not a typical pattern for USA shows but that could be a good thing.

  • CS’ Revenge

Speak of the devil just found out that SPIKE TV will schedule another free PPV on Impact as Hardcore Justice will air August 15th with word that another one will take place from St. Louis on September 12th against the season premiere of Thursday Night Football.

DEGRASSI RATINGS PLEASE Teennick @ 9 please no one has posted them in weeks

  • CS’ Revenge

    @ Matt

I think consistency is a good thing for USA, a lot of the time if you have a consistent audience especially for a new show it gives it more potential to build its audience. Network executives just don’t like seeing up and down trends where shows decline in back-to-back weeks.

  • tj

Faithful Burn Notice viewers have tuned out for this last season? I don’t get it. Last nights episode wasn’t as action packed as usual, but Michael made me tear up at the end. Good stuff. Impact actually was decent last night. Decent matches, not too much of Aces and 8’s and Bully Ray, showcased more younger talent, a plus for me.

  • Amy

I see a lot of people playing fan excuse bingo. Suits got a 1.1 for its premiere and it’s on USA.

Maybe the storylines are just bad on Burn Notice and Graceland.

I don’t think the lead in makes a difference with die hard fans. They’ll tune out if the writing is bad.

  • Anna Bones Clarkwood

Matt, ppl are saying that Burn Notice dropped significantly, thus maybe a 1.0-1.1 equates better with 2.8 mil viewers?

I doubt that it was actually 1.8mil viewers tuned unto Burn Notice & actually not rounding 50K more tuned into Graceland.

I highly doubt that, close to 1 mil non 18-49 ppl who watched Burn Notice, tuned away from Graceland & virtually no one in the demo who tuned into Burn Notice tuned out. Which would indicate the numbers are wrong or a decent number of 18-49 viewers tune in to Graceland, but not Burn Notice & that it’s much more 18-49 skewing than Burn Notice. Which also doesn’t seem plausible.

  • Ram510

It’s a sad day when a show like Sullivan & Son beats Burn Notice. I’ll admit this season has not been great which is weird cause the 6th season was awesome. I’m sure it’ll get better once they get to the final few episodes.

Graceland just isn’t that good. It’s nowhere near the ratings Suits was getting last summer and its just flat out underperforming. I don’t know what USA is going to do with its Thursdays once BN is finished. I supposed they could move Suits back to Thursday and pair it with a new show. But I’m interested to see who makes it out of Graceland, Necessary Roughness and Covert Affairs cause they all aren’t up to par

    @ CS’ Revenge

“USA overall has fallen from grace and really struggling right now with their original series.”

I agree. USA’s programs mostly consist of lite entertainment programming that too often require viewers to suspend their disbelief. The storylines drag on interminably and usually have at least one improbable plot twist per episode to keep the stories moving. I’ve invested enough time in Burn Notice to want to stick around to the end. However, as its ratings indicate, that show has pretty much run out of steam. Otherwise, I’ve entirely stopped watching anything on the network. USA needs to invent a new approach to programming.

  • Matt

    @Anna Bones Clarkwood

Burn Notice dropped significantly both in total viewers and in demo. Last few weeks it got numbers like 3.5~4 mil total + 1.0~1.2 in demo. So this week’s 2.8 mil total + 0.7 in demo actually make sense propotion wise.

Same thing could be said to Graceland, ~2 mil total and 0.7~0.8 in demo is its typical pattern (and has been very consistant thus far). So yeah, propotion wise, I would say Graceland is a much younger skewing show than Burn Notice.

And comparing to its lead-in, Burn Notice… I don’t know. USA apparently thought the two shows would have very similar audience group, and they have been advertising it that way (“If you like Burn Notice, you sure want to check out Graceland…” blah blah). But it seems to me that in fact these two shows appeal to very different groups of people. So maybe it’s time for USA to re-think their marketing stratagies.

  • Mike

    @jr

    Oh lol…. My bad

  • Awesome

Yes, Another Cinderella Story did amazing. 3.7 Million :)

  • Kelly

I think that for USA the shows that they are probably considering for cancellation are Necessary Roughness, Graceland, and Covert Affairs. I think that Necessary Roughness is doing good and it has stayed relatively steady for its whole season Graceland’s total viewers aren’t amazing, but its demo is and Covert Affairs is basically doing the same numbers NR is doing so far for its premiere so they’re all good shows it’ll be tough for USA to see which shows will continue. Hopefully Necessary Roughness isn’t cancelled I love that show and I’m still not over fairly legal’s cancellation.

  • tj

USA was popping out so many hits that they won’t let newer shows grow anymore and gain a fanbase. I really enjoyed Common Law, at the least they could have tried it on another night other than Friday. They’ve moved all their other shows at least once. Burn Notice’s writing is still great in my opinion and it has the best production value on that channel. I like Royal Pains because it’s refreshing and not about sex and violence. I do enjoy that content as well but It’s still nice to watch something with heart. I enjoy White Collar for it’s buddy buddy content, I think it lost viewers when it started drifting from that.

  • Ram510

And to add to the 3 underperforming series (RN, CA, Graceland) they have 2 veteran show ending, Burn Notice and Psych (hasn’t been officially announced for Psych, but it seems the writing is on the wall). They need a hit and fast
