ESPN Sunday Night Baseball: Tampa Bay Rays at Los Angeles Dodgers on August 11 and New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox on August 18

 

ESPN announced today its game selections for the August 11 and 18 editions of Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell. On August 11, the Tampa Bay Rays and Evan Longoria will visit the Los Angeles Dodgers and Hanley Ramirez at Dodger Stadium. On August 18, the New York Yankees and Robinson Cano meet the Boston Red Sox and Dustin Pedroia at Fenway Park.

 

The 8 p.m. ET telecasts will air on ESPN with Dan Shulman, analysts Orel Hershiser, John Kruk and reporter Buster Olney providing commentary. Sunday Night Baseball is the exclusive, national Major League Baseball game of the week.

 

Sunday Night Baseball is also available on ESPN Radio with Jon Sciambi and analyst Chris Singleton, ESPN Deportes with Ernesto Jerez, Luis Alfredo Alvarez and Guillermo Celis, ESPN Deportes Radio and WatchESPN.

 

On deck: The St. Louis Cardinals will visit the Atlanta Braves, July 28, on Sunday Night Baseball.

    I can tell you that Boston will appear on three more Sunday-night ESPN games this season: August 25th, when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers, and back-to-back Sunday nights in September against the New York Yankees: September 8th in New York, and September 15th in Boston.

    Why would ESPN put the Atlanta Braves on 2 weeks in a row. Especially against the Phillies? Bad scheduling. Better game that week is Cardinals and Reds
