Flowers in the Attic

Flowers in the Attic, the incest-filled book that has scandalized generations of sixth grade girls, will become a Lifetime movie. Deadline reports that the network is producing a film version of the story that will star Heather Graham as Corrine, the mother of teen siblings/lovers  Cathy and Chris and Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn as their abusive grandmother Olivia.

A feature film based on the book was produced in 1987.

Can’t be worse than the first adaptation… hopefully.

As long as this adaptation maintains the ending of the book then it has to be better then the movie adaptation was!

Weird book to bring to the screen. Have to admit that I couldn’t put those books down when I was a kid. It was only until years later that I realized what exactly I had read…..ahhh childish innocence

I don’t get this weird obsession with incest in the media. Enough already!

I read the book series when I was in high school. The movie then was really bad. I don’t have Lifetime but here’s hoping the new movie treatment will be much better.
