Well I guess it’s official now: there will be a “shark” movie of some type on SYFY now 24/7.

“Social media means nothing”, they said…

I can see this starting a trend. It’s not uncommon for broadcast networks like CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, & the CW to have sister digital channels now & of course cable networks have plenty of space for encores. In general executives will look at the social media value of a premiere in deciding how may encores it should get.

  • Lucas

WTF? “Ghost Shark” is this real? haha

I watched a couple of the movies on Saturday afternoon. That movie with the guy who plays on Smallville was good. In the movie he ran an oil rigg that people wanted to shutt down. I dont remember the name of it.

Maybe they can show Sharknado all the time?

  • SVU: Hannibal Lector’s Dinner

I’m hoping for an Alien Tornado sequel, i have that recorded on my DVR waiting to be watched right now. Maybe I’ll do a back to back Syfy tornado marathon on Sunday after i get off work.

Well now I have seen everything, the shark has jumped Syfy.

Is this unprecedented, where the ratings keep growing for encores?
