mun2 WEEKEND HOME TO HISPANIC MILLENIALS: JULY MARKS THIRD CONSECUTIVE MONTH OF #1 IN WEEKEND PRIME WITH ADULTS 18-34

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – July 31, 2013 - mun2, the leading cable network for Hispanic Millennial adults, had its third consecutive month of being the #1 cable network among adults 18-34 during weekend prime time in July, according to Nielsen. The weekend nights delivered 97,000 total viewers, 53,000 adults 18-49 and 29,000 adults 18-34, out-delivering Galavision (19,000) and Discovery en Español (25,000) in adults 18-34. The network was also the leading Hispanic cable network in, delivering 82,000 total viewers, 50,000 adults 18-49 and 27,000 adults 18-34. Leading deliveries was mun2’s original Hispanic celebrity reality series “I Love Jenni” during weekend prime and powerful deliveries during the week for “Pasion de Gavilanes.”
mun2 was the fastest growing Hispanic cable network with women 18-49 in total day Monday -Sunday 6a.m.- 2a.m., +8% year-over-year. The network continued its double-digit growth with women, and was also the fastest growing Hispanic cable network during Sunday 7p.m.-11p.m., up +53%; during Saturday-Sunday 7p.m.-11p.m., up +30%; and during late night Monday – Sunday 11p.m.-2a.m., up +21%.
During Monday through Sunday prime time, the network continued to out-deliver Spanish language broadcasting networks MundoFox (25,000 vs. 8,000), Estrella TV (25,000 vs. 23,000) and Azteca America (25,000 vs. 14,000) among adults 18-34. mun2 also out-delivered Azteca America in total viewers (80,000 vs. 75,000) & adults 18-49 (45,000 vs. 39,000), and beat MundoFox in total viewers (80,000 vs. 62,000), and adults 18-49 (45,000 vs. 27,000) for the month of July 2013.
During, the network was #1 and the fastest growing among total viewers, adults 18-34 and adults 18-49, beating Discovery en Español, Galavision, Fox Deportes and Tr3s.
mun2.tv saw growth in July with +145% (1,490,699) increase in video streams year-over-year and up +122% (582,287) in unique visitors year-over-year. “I Love Jenni” season three content drove nearly 59% of all video streams on mun2.tv for the month.

The network’s original Hispanic celebrity reality series “I Love Jenni” season three continues to be the most viewed season of the series. During July, the series continues to grow its year-over-year time period by +157% (144,000) with total viewers, +110% (84,000) adults 18-49, +100% (44,000) adults 18-34 compared to this time in 2012. “I Love Jenni” season three made mun2 the #1 network on Sundays 9p.m. in Hispanic cable television among total viewers, adults 18-34 and adults 18-49.
“Pasion De Gavilanes”:
Captivating telenovela “Pasion De Gavilanes” (Monday -Thursday 6p.m.) continues to drivedeliveries, up +250% (193,000) in total viewers, +251% (120,000) in adults 18-49 and +232% (60,000) in adults 18-34 vs. the prior year in July. “Pasion De Gavilanes” continues be the #1 program at 6p.m. and beat all other Hispanic cable networks Galavision, Discover en Español, Fox Deportes and Tr3s.
“Pasion De Gavilanes” prime telecasts, which premiered in July (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 7p.m.), reached the #1 spot, also delivering more viewers than all its Hispanic cable competitors at 7p.m. The novela delivered +137% (192,000) in total viewers, +102% (119,000) in adults 18-49 and +31% (58,000) in adults 18-34 vs. the prior year in July.
