In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • taylor

Its weird I had a dream that capture got a 0.4 demo . O.o weird

These will probably be the regular numbers for this season for Got Talent and like I’ve been saying all summer I think Hollywood Game Night should’ve been airing two new episodes every week, it could’ve benefited more from airing new episodes in front of Got Talent or behind it on Wednesdays.

So You Think You Can Dance finally didn’t bleed at the 9pm half-hour against AGT as this has been a very good bounce back season for the show.

Whose Line delivers again so since this is the 3rd week I think we can safely say that its the real deal. Just like its been the last couple of seasons, The CW has had trouble for the most part getting anything sampled real good out of that 9pm hour so it’ll be tough for them find something that’s going to hold that audience but I do like the steps that they have taken overall this season.

    @ Dennis

“UNDER THE DOME will be the #1 Broadcast show for the week in demo and viewers”

It might be but football returns on Sunday on NBC with the Hall of Fame game and the Dallas Cowboys are playing there’s a possibility it can beat Under the Dome in one of the two categories.

Love me some Body of Proof. :) Can anyone explain why the show is continuing to be repeated with another repeat scheduled yesterday for Tuesday 13th August, meaning 3 more repeats on the way? :)

    testing…

  • sally

    AGT stinks

  • rgxx

what’s going ON with this site?

  • Alan

Ouch Whose Line. Maybe it will get adjusted up.

1.4 is the new 2.0 for FOX. SYTYCD = creative & ratings disaster w/ a drug using judge (annoying-as-hell-Mary) who cheats – secretly coaching the ballroom dancers. Thanks to Midget Mike Darnell FOX has nothing to replace it.

  • Kyle

    What a dead night!

  • Chrissy

Why is Body of Proof still repeating well into August?

  • fitz

Sunday will be next week BTW AGT after its definite upward adjustment will tie or even surpass Dome in 2 of 3 categories so at best its tied for number 1 show

  • One

This underperformance for summer chaff does not surprise me.

  • Kaylie

Capture was amazing. I still dont know what Whose Line is about but the ratings look really good. I hope Capture rises. ITs a great show.

  • charmedcraft

I liked Captured, if I hadn’t been watching WLIIA I wouldn’t have even known it was on. Don’t remember ever seeing any ads for it. I’m glad they sent the two girls joking about using their bodies to get ahead if they had to home.

  • Guardian Owl

Finally got around to watching capture, I don’t see how they are going to sustain it for a full season. Is each episode going to be just them stumbling around looking for a team for 3.5 hours or are they going to add some twists to it along the way? I think they also could have benefited with starting out with a smaller amount of teams.
