via press release:

Wednesday’s all new Melissa & Joey ranked as cable TV’s #1 telecast at 8 o’clock in Women 18-34 and the #1 original cable TV telecast in Women 18-49. Additionally, it stood as the series’ #2 telecast of the season I Females 12-34 and #3 telecast in Total Viewers.

Soaring by double digits week to week across the board, Baby Daddy hit a season high in Total Viewers and its #2 telecast in target 18-34 and 12-34 demos. Baby Daddy grew over its Melissa & Joey lead in by solid margins in key demos and ranked as the #1 original cable TV telecast in Women 18-34 and Females 12-34 in the half hour.

    Any actual numbers, hate press releases like that.

    The first season of Baby Daddy was actually okay. It was much better than I expected it to be. But this season hasn’t been very good. I hope the writers are able to get the show back on track soon. I also think that they are doing too many episodes this season. It would probably be better if they stuck to doing 10-13 episodes per season.

    @TV#1 : It’s clear 15 episodes instead of 13 is really changing lots of things …

    Baby Daddy is only worth watching for the hot, older brother and the mom (loved her on Reba). Tahj Mowry is so frickin annoying and I can’t believe we’re supposed to buy him as straight.

    …what Christian said…

    @ regulat01

    I thought they were doing 20 episodes of Baby Daddy this season. Aren’t they supposed to return with new episodes in early 2014 with Melissa and Joey? Maybe I got that wrong though?

    Regardless, I think it would be better for them to stick to doing closer to 10 episodes per season. Less seems to be more with them.

    I don’t think Tahj Mowry is annoying, but I do agree with Christian. Baby Daddy season 2 is severely lacking in something and most of the storylines have been horrible minus Danny and Bonnie. And yes I also think Tahj is a huge closet case…he is so not a straight guy in real life. His character Tucker even shows major signs of being gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it’s just the fact the writers are trying to play the viewers for stupid. They should go ahead and make Tucker a gay guy in season 3.

    wow a short press release with no numbers.

    @Christian

    Did you see episode 9 “All’s Flair in Love and War” Tucker’s girlfriend came into town and one thing I noticed in that episode is he didn’t kiss her at all? Which is odd consider she was suppose to be playing his girlfriend. Now I don’t know if it’s because the writers purposely wrote the script like that so Tahj’s character Tucker didn’t have to kiss her, or Tahj himself requested that they don’t do a kissing scene. Either way I thought that was very suspect to me! Because all the other characters on the show had at least one kissing scene this season!!
