    Oh, and Sleepy Hollow!

  • HV

Here is what I expect to happen on NBC this season. The Olympics cutting through two weeks of February makes NBC’s schedule confusing. I have said 12 episodes for all of Believe, Crisis, About a Boy, Growing Up Fisher, The Night Shift, Chicago PD, Undateable, and Crossbones as I think that their pilots will all air during the Olympics, as they premiere shortly after on my schedule and NBC loves to do that. If a longer show takes up a timeslot, and then, later, multiple shorter shows are in that timeslot, the longer show is listed multiple times, but, beyond the first time, is listed in parentheses. Also confusing is Community, which I have listed twice (Thursday at 9:00 and Thursday at 8:30) both times followed by canceled. Like ABC’s Suburgatory, I do not expect this show to be canceled until the end of the season, so don’t be mislead. If you find anything confusing, I will explain.

    SUNDAY
    7:00 Football Night in America (Sept. 8-Jan. 26)/Dateline NBC (Mar. 2-May 18)
8:00 NBC Sunday Night Football (Sept. 8-Jan. 26)/American Dream Builders (Mar. 2-May 18)
    9:00 (NBC Sunday Night Football)/Believe (Mar. 2-May 18) (12 ep)
    10:00 (NBC Sunday Night Football)/Crisis (Mar. 2-May 18) (12 ep)

    MONDAY
    8:00 The Voice (Sept. 23-Dec. 16)/The Sing-Off (Jan. 6-Feb. 3)/The Voice (Feb. 24-May 26)
    10:00 The Blacklist (Sept. 23-Dec. 9) (12 ep)/Dateline NBC (Dec. 16-Feb. 3)/The Blacklist (Feb.24-Apr. 28) (10 ep)/Hannibal (May 5-Jul. 28) (13 ep)

    TUESDAY
    8:00 The Biggest Looser (Oct. 8-Dec. 10)/The Apprentice (Jan. 7-Feb. 4)/The Voice (Feb. 25-May 27)
    9:00 The Voice (Sept. 24-Dec. 17)/(The Apprentice)/About a Boy (Feb. 25-May 20) (12 ep–canceled)
    9:30 (The Voice)/(The Apprentice)/Growing Up Fisher (Feb. 25-May 20) (12 ep–canceled)
    10:00 Chicago Fire (Sept. 24-May 20) (24 ep)

    WEDNESDAY
    8:00 Revolution (Sept. 25-Feb. 5) (18 ep–canceled)/The Night Shift (Feb. 26-May 14) (12 ep–canceled)
    9:00 Law & Order: SVU (Sept. 25-May 21) (22 ep)
    10:00 Ironside (Sept. 25-Jan. 29) (13 ep–canceled)/Chicago PD (Feb. 26-May 14) (12 ep–canceled)

    THURSDAY
    8:00 Parks and Recreation (Sept. 26-May 15) (24 ep)
    8:30 Welcome to the Family (Oct. 3-Mar. 27) (17 ep)/Community (Apr. 3-May 15) (7 ep–canceled)
    9:00 Sean Saves the World (Oct. 3-Dec. 19) (10 ep–canceled)/Community (Jan. 2-Feb. 6) (6 ep–canceled)/Undateable (Feb. 27-May 15) (12 ep)
    9:30 The Michael J. Fox Show (Sept. 26-May 15) (24 ep)
    10:00 Parenthood (Sept. 26-May 8) (22 ep–canceled)

    FRIDAY
    8:00 Dateline NBC (Oct. 25-May 16)
    9:00 Dateline NBC (Sept. 27-Oct. 18)/Grimm (Oct. 25-May 16) (22 ep)
    10:00 (Dateline NBC)/Dracula (Oct. 25-Jan. 31) (10 ep)/Crossbones (Feb. 28-May 16) (12 ep–canceled)

Summer scheduling is not included, unless a show starts before summer and goes into the summer. If you have any questions about my schedule prediction, ask me.

  • Richard

It’s still an utter mess that Bones is being shipped off to a Friday. Hopefully some of their new shows will do appallingly, and will motivate them to keep Bones going through to a Season 10.

  • Survivor Fan

New Fall Shows (12): We Are Men, Mom, Hostages, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, Dads, Brooklyn 9-9, Back in the Game, The Millers, The Crazy Ones, The Michael J. Fox Show, Junior MasterChef

Returning Fall Shows (11): The Amazing Race, How I Met Your Mother, Two Broke Girls, The Voice, Modern Family, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Last Man Standing, Homeland, Anger Management

Shows That I Am Probably Done With (3): Revenge, The Middle, The Neighbors

Shows Of Which I May Watch The Premiere If I Am Extremely Bored (3): Super Fun Night, Sean Saves the World, Enlisted

There will also probably be some cable reality competition I watch.

  • Kissan

    @HV

For your ABC Schedule, I don’t think The Goldbergs will be canceled that quick as it has SHIELD as a lead in, I don’t even think it WILL get canceled. SFN will get canceled before the new year and Trophy Wife will get the post MF slot while Suburgatory will take Trophy Wifes slot. Back In The Game and Nashville won’t get canceled. And where’s Killer Women cause I think that will get canceled once it takes Lucky 7’s spot. Mind Games and Mixology will probably be summer shows.

  • CM

    One missing show:

Liv and Maddie (Disney) Sunday, September 15 (8:00 p.m.)

  • Survivor Fan

Also, I will be watching a lot of football this fall (college and NFL).

  • HV

    @Kissan
I don’t think that ABC is as dumb as NBC in that NBC doesn’t care about retention or anything. The Goldbergs may not do that bad in the ratings, but I think that Shield will do great in the ratings (not amazing due to competition with NCIS), and, due to the large drop from 8:00 to 9:00, ABC will cancel The Goldbergs. I don’t think that SFN will get canceled until May. I disagree with you on Back in the Game and Nashville. It’s hard to predict Back in the Game, but Nashville only did alright last year, and may have only gotten renewed due to it being the best new show on ABC. If ABC doesn’t have many good drama pilots next year, Nashville may stick around. I think that Killer Women will end up either in the summer, online, or never airing. I doubt Mind Games and Mixology being summer shows, especially Mixology. ABC’s new comedies other than Mixology are crap, and The Neighbors is going to fail on Fridays after LMS.

  • Kissan

    @HV

For your CBS Schedule, Hostages and The Crazy Ones will NOT get cancelled. Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar will save TCO and Hostages looks to good to get cancelled. We Are Men will definitely get cancelled in around 6 episodes and Mike & Molly will take its place. The Millers will get cancelled in around 6 episodes as well and new comedy Friends With Better Lives will take its place. And where is new drama Reckless, I think that will be on in the summer.

  • KJ Styles

    Shows I will watch religiously…

    How I Met Your Mother
    2 Broke Girls
    NCIS
    NCIS LA
    Person Of Interest
    Modern Family
    Big Bang Theory
    Scandal
    Once Upon A Time
    The Walking Dead

    Shows I will check out/DVR…

    Blacklist
    Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD
    Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Once Upon A Time In Wonderland
    Super Fun Night
    The Crazy Ones

The only show I’m dropping is Two & A Half Men. The only reason I watched it last season is because it was sandwiched between TBBT and POI.

I’ll probably DVR Hawaii 5-0. I hate that it moved to Fridays though.

  • Real NY

Love Mondays at 10:00. Hostages and Blacklist will be watch/dvr. Looks like they might be able to finally knock off Castle (although Castle writers probably already did that to themselves)

  • Melanie P.

Will definitely check out Ironside. Excited for the returns of: Parenthood, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Law and Order SVU, America’s Next Top Model (premieres 8/2) Undercover Boss and Chicago Fire (and its spinoff). Probably will check out a couple more listed and some that I already watch on cable.

  • KJ Styles

I’m predicting We Are Men to be the first cancellation. I hope the Millers gets cancelled too so Will Arnett can go back to Arrested Development. Gob is my favorite character on that show.

For your CW Schedule, The Tomorrow People won’t be cancelled and I don’t think BATB will be cancelled…at least until the end of the season. Oh Sit will probably be on in the summer. If Reign is a sleeper hit it will stay on Thursday until it finishes its episodes, if its not it will probably get a burnoff on Fridays at 9:00 and The 100 will take its place on Thursday. Once TCD ends, Star Crossed will take its place and Famous In 12 will be on at 9:00.

Bones has been on Fridays MULTIPLE times with no issues. It has a strong enough following after 9 years that they will watch it no matter what day it comes on.

Most likely yes. It’s one of the most high profile shows this upcoming season.

Also, I read from the TCA’s that Nikita’s final season will most likely air around mid-November. Maggie Q spread a rumor that it was going to be 3 weeks, 2 hours each, but Mark Pedowitz shot that down. He said the finale will probably be 2 hours.

For your FOX Schedule, I think American Dad will stay at 9:30 until the new year and then it moves to 7:30 in January while Murder Police takes its place. I agree with you about Bones going on Monday until Oct. 28th and then go Fridays until the end of the season but I disagree that Sleepy Hollow or TMP will be cancelled since the new comedies don’t looks that good. I don’t think Glee will go on Fridays until next season.

Shows I’m looking forward to this season: The Blacklist, Chicago Fire, Revolution, Parenthood, Hawaii Five-O, Saturday Night Live and Homeland. NBC better beat the crap out of CBS for good if these brain-dead idiots must stopped watching shows on CBS because of “ratings” and they must watch their favorite CBS shows online, DVR or On Demand.
