Happy September! The new fall TV season will be here soon, and it's not to early to think about managing your DVRs.

Anything that's been announced that I missed, please let me know and I'll add it to the list.  If you see any errors, let me know about those too.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

If you'd like to see the night by night broadcast schedule grids including new and returning shows click here.

Note: mid-season shows (premiering after December) are deliberately not on this list.

    I womder which show would be cancelled first?

  • Networkman

    As far as cancellations are concerned

    1. We Are Men(CBS)- Mike & Molly is waiting in the wings and should have a 22 episode season. This could be gone by November.
    2. Ironside(NBC)
    3. Lucky 7 (ABC)
    4. Dads(FOX)-To respect Seth, I think the network would air all its produce episodes. After 13 episodes, the Jason Ritter comedy should take over.
    5. Reign (CW)

    Why everyone here is so sure NCIS will loose against S.H.I.E.L.D. ? OK it’s aging but it has a solid and loyal fanbase. Ziva’s departure / death will boost the ratings. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets a 3.8-4.0 and break another viewership record (23 million :) ). But I’m realistic and I think a 3.4-3.5 is more likely.

    This is what I think:
    SHIELD = 4.6
    The Voice = 4.0
    NCIS = 3.5

    Is that possible ?

    I’m excited for this years new shows. Back from Comic-Con and this years new pilots are way better than last years. Between me and my friend we tried to watch as many of the new show pilots that we could. Our grades:

    Agents of SHIELD = A-
    The Blacklist = B+
    Almost Human = B
    Intelligence = C
    Tomorrow People = C+
    The 100 = C+
    Sleepy Hollow = C

    Of the shows we were able to watch, not a bad one in the bunch. A couple were average but still had potential. No stinkers like last year. With SHIELD and the Blacklist it looked like it was almost movie type production. With SHIELD it seemed like it meshed well with the Avengers movie that the studio could squeeze the TV pilot into the Avengers movie and call it an extended cut. This year it seems that networks are shelling out more money to make sure their shows are successful, at least in the beginning.

    I’m guessing that Strike Back(the best action series on TV) is considered a summer show. Well for those interested, premiere is on Fri. Aug 9 at 10pm.

    @NBCisking
    I don’t see “The Millers” getting cancelled its behind “The Big Bang Theory.

    That worked out well for $#*! My Dad Says and How to be a Gentleman. ;)

  • Ultima

    I realize that summer is pretty boring on a TV ratings site, but what’s the deal with the “MY schedule” comments where you just list the networks’ schedules?

  • CBSviewer

    @ Ultima

    That worked out well for $#*! My Dad Says and How to be a Gentleman

    We’ll see. I think it could be perfect to replace HIMYM on Monday at 8 next season.
