  • PurpleDrazi

    A very good episode of The Fosters last night. I’m glad it did well. It deserved it.

    Good ratings for Switched at Birth. Really good ratings and finale for the Fosters. It does really well in the f 12-34 demo.

  • mayke88

    The Fosters currently stands as ABC Family’s #2 series in the demos, behind only “Pretty Little Liars.”.

    That is the definition of the word “AMAZING”

    When it can already pull these numbers in just half of the first season, can you imagine how much farther The Fosters can go in the future?

  • Dan

    The Fosters will last past its “back order” and beyond likely as long as PLL and Switched at Birth are lasting. My guess is Twisted will end after its back order like Bunheads and Ravenswood will probably last a while too.

  • Brandy

    @mayke beating Switched once in demo and tying twice dosent make Fosters the number two show .Switched also rose in demo this season usually getting 0.7 whereas Fosters had one 0.5 and 0.6s before it started rising.Switched series low is 0.6,Fosters 0.5.Switched also rose to 2 million total viewers this season.I think Fosters is rising partly cause Switched has risen the last five episodes.Also, first and second season are almost always the highest rated(though there are a few exceptions) and in Jan Fosters will have much more,much harder competition from cable and broadcast network, that’s usually when Switched gets 0.6s.

    @Brandy

    It’s not gonna be that much hard comepetition in January. The Fosters is only going up against The Bachelor, 2 Broke Girls and Mom, BATB, The Following, Dallas, Winter Olympics and three weeks of The Voice. The Following and Dallas won’t do anything to The Fosters since they don’t have the same audience. BATB can’t effect it either because The Fosters gets more viewers than them. I don’t know about 2 Broke Girls and Mom but The Bachelor and Olympics will be comepetition.

    Great season one for The Fosters. We watched not expecting much, but have been pleasantly surprised. Hope the writing stays as good on return in Jan 14.

    @Brandy

    LOL I didn’t made it up that The Fosters is currently stands as ABC Family’s #2 series in the demos, behind only “Pretty Little Liars.”. It IN the NEWS ABOVE. Read it sheessh. It’s a FACT. I try to be nice but here someone thinks I just randomly guessing things when it’s really the news. I didn’t even said anything about S@B. You yourself feels jealous perhaps?

  • Joel

    @makye88 @Brandy how about we all just calm down and just appreciate how well both shows go together?

  • Carilie

    Awesome! I’m totally psyched!! for “The Fosters.” Acting and writing and all-things production-wise are fab-u-lous!! I’ve always liked Teri Polo, and I don’t know where Sherri Saum came from, but give the casting director an A+++ for signing her. Looking forward to January!

  • Nikki @k@ Jesus Foster’s gf

    I really hope it comes back on and is as good as this season. Stef and Lena are great parents and spouses but I hope Lena cheats. It would be a nice little twist for the show.
