No mention of The View… crap!

  • DenverDean

Definitely won’t hit a high this week with CBS/TW dispute.

  • Amanda

Great to see The Talk doing so well, and that a lot of new viewers are discovering it. It’s a very hot show and I enjoy watching it. The chemistry among the current five women has really clicked and it’s a lot lighter in tone and more fun than The View.

  • Mike

Congrats The Talk. It is really having a great season and a great summer.

Denver Dean, why do you think that. If the shows fall it won’t be because of the dispute. The shows on CBS in prime time have barely been affected by it at all.

Big Brother last night had the same rating as it had last week. And others have only been slightly down but some of them were up against different competition.

Good for The Talk. I like it so much better than The View.

It really makes me suspicious about the ratings system when CBS is blacked out in major, major markets yet the ratings are not affected. How can CBS be blacked out in NYC and other large cities but the same number of viewers are watching the shows like Big Brother? Makes no sense to me.

  • Mike

But it is not completely blacked out for everyone in those markets….just Time Warner customers. It all boils down to what percentage of viewers in those markets actually have that service. The majority of the viewers of some of these shows might have satellite and not cable.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again… BORING! I HATE THAT SHOW!

  • Reine

Soaps have better ratings. I don’t watch talk shows.
