    If this is successful, then ABC would have this special on every October for infinity and beyond.

    Seems like such a weird date for the show. I was expecting it’d get that strong Peanuts lead-in, which seems to work so well (most of the time). I’m hoping the numbers to be huge, regardless. BITG might (and this is a very weak “might”) get a slight lift, or at least stay neutral for a week. Otherwise, it’s bound to fail.

    For 10/16
    Terror: 2.6-3.8 (a bit optimistic)
    Back in the Game: 1.8-2.7

    Hm. ABC better be grateful their owned by DISNEY, their getting help from Disneys biggest established brands (Marvel, Pixar)

    @TVMAN

    And Disney better be careful that the ABC touch of death doesn’t turn around and bite them by tarnishing those brands. Still, I gotta root for a new animated Halloween special to succeed so I’ve already marked my calendar.

    What this really means is a 2 week break between the 100th episode of Modern Family and the 100th episode of The Middle.

    Looking forward to it, and it’ll be on early enough in my time zone my kiddo can watch. Actually, it’s during her fall break from school so that’s good, too.
