Premiere Episode of Starz’ ‘The White Queen’ Draws 2.6 Million Viewers Over Multiple Weekend Telecasts

 STRONGEST SHARE OF FEMALE VIEWERSHIP EVER FOR A STARZ ORIGINAL

 

The new critically-acclaimed 10-part limited series “The White Queen” debuted on STARZ this past weekend.

First airing as a special sneak-preview event at 10 PM ET/PT following the “Magic City” series finale on Friday, August 9, and then premiering at 8PM ET/PT on STARZ on Saturday, “The White Queen” produced approximately 2.1 million STARZ viewers Live+SD over the weekend.

An additional 500K Live+SD viewers came in during telecast stunts on Starz sister network ENCORE, bumping up viewership to 2.6 million.

“The White Queen” also delivered the strongest relative female-male percentage viewership results ever for STARZ original/limited series programming, with females comprising nearly 60% of the opening weekend audience.

“The White Queen” (1.4 rating) sneak preview event on STARZ held onto the “Magic City” series finale (1.5 rating) audience.

Future episodes of “The White Queen” will premiere on Saturdays at 9PM ET/PT.
