CBS SPORTS NETWORK HITS THE BEACH FOR DEBUT OF

AVP PRO BEACH VOLLEYBALL ON SUNDAY, AUG. 18

 

 

AVP Pro Beach Volleyball debuts on CBS Sports Network live this Sunday, August 18 (4:00 PM, ET) with the first stop of the 2013 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour from Salt Lake City, Utah. The Network airs live men's and women's Championship round action, featuring the world’s best players including Olympic Gold Medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings, Phil Dalhausser, Todd Rogers, Silver Medalists Jen Kessy and April Ross, and Olympians Sean Rosenthal and Jake Gibb – all of whom have been signed exclusively by the AVP.

 

Chris Marlowe announces, along with Olympic Gold Medalist Dain Blanton, and reporter Amanda Pflugrad. The event marks the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour’s return to television for the first time since Summer 2010.

 

CBS Interactive will provide a live stream of preliminary-round action from Salt Lake City on AVP.com on Saturday, Aug. 17 (3:00 PM, ET).

 

CBS Sports Network will air live action from five Tour stops this season including Salt Lake City, Utah; Manhattan Beach, Calif. (Aug. 23-25); Cincinnati, Ohio (Aug. 31-Sept. 1); St. Petersburg, Fla. (Sept. 14-15); and Huntington Beach, Calif. (Oct. 19-20).
