CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for August 11, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/10 with 4.90m viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +30% in adults 25-54 (from 1.0/05), +14% in viewers (from 4.30m) and +9% in households (from 3.2/09).
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in both households (3.9/11 from 3.6/10) and viewers (5.50m from 5.09m), and was even in adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Lee Cowan’s profile of actor Bryan Cranston, Anthony Mason’s interview with author Marisha Pessl, Mo Rocca’s visit with artist Jun Kaneko and Martha Teichner’s chat with singer-songwriter Michael Bolton.
