I think Michael Strahan is doing a great job and has breathed new life into the show. Who knew that he had this in him during/after his long NFL career with the Giants? To be honest, Regis was really starting to lose it toward the end of his run. (How ironic is it that Regis, with his new show Crowd Goes Wild on the new FS1, and Michael are now both working for FOX Sports? Both are out of the box choices to host their shows.)

It’s amazing to me that Michael has been able to successfully juggle both of his gigs (with two different companies and appealing to different audiences) given that Live (ABC/Disney) tapes in NYC while his FOX NFL studio analyst job is in LA. That’s a lot of cross-country flights, twice per week every week for five months out of the year. Keep up the great work, Michael!

Totally agree with everything you said. He is the reason why those ratings are steady. It only left the top 25 syndicated once since he hosted while Regis and Kelly and Kelly with various co-hosts for a year have fluctuated in the ratings. He has earned this, and good for him for blending in with the hollywood interviewing scene as well as he did. And it doesn’t hurt that it all started with him and Regis arguing over sports on their respective shows at the time. It was like the torch passed on to him and no one realized it. Once again good for him. He deserves the praise.

They need to replace Kelly Ripa, she is so fake it’s ugly. She’s not natural at all. She thinks everyone is amazing and Oscar/Grammy/Emmy/ every other award material. It’s one thing to be positive but not in a fake and pretentious way.

The show has been amazing these last two weeks without Kelly “NO TALENT” Ripa. Michael is what keeps the ratings so high and your right, he really deserves it . They will never get another Emmy until they get rid of o Michael. That’s not fair t

They should get rid of Kelly she has no talent and brings nothing to the show except scratching and looking at herself in the monitor. She can’t even talk without saying umm 10 times. Please stop reading the newspapers.
They started that when Regis left because no talent Ripa couldn’t carry on a conversation unless it is about herself.
    She needs to go.

I just truly love the show. I have watched it since it since Kelly join. I was so surprised to see her go from soaps to talk show host and now with her new cohost Michael has become the top daytime talk show. Kelly and Michael are venominal. They are great. And keep the audience going every day. And its not just women in the audience it ismen an young adults. They are Great!!!!! I and writing this on my phone I keot trying to submit my entry for the tiki trip and my phone losing my entries. At least I get to make my comment without failure. The show is Great. And the best take was Michael as Oprah Kelly as her person she impersonated. They all were good. And Kelly you were great in all all my children. I still remrmber your arrival into pine valley. The rivals you had with Mark. You two had a look at each other I knew you two would be married. I even bet on it and one. Thank you. But keep up the Great work you and Michael. You two have brought a new light to talk show. I hope to visit the show soon. Tell Mr. Gelman great job also.
