When networks start mentioning 25-54 demo you now it is a Harry’s Law-Murder She Wrote type show.

  • David

A lot of cable networks target 25-54.

  • CC

What a great show. Any ratings experts out there know the chances of renewal? Tvline has a safe bet…

  • KK

No question “Longmire” will be renewed. “The Glades” though, is a toss-up. Numbers are down and the episodes all seem to be of the same formula.

  • Raz

Like both the show and the books, though they differ greatly. It is really neat to see the author make ‘Hitchcock’ appearances.

  • Chad Beharriell

I teach a college-level Westerns course and write about the genre at westernsreboot dot com – my students study Longmire as an example of a contemporary Western. Given the positive reaction of those students, whose average age is 19 or 20, I can see Longmire connecting with an even wider demographic than the one discussed in this article.

Time for the A & E powers that be, and the producers to submit this production and it’s cast & staff (great editing and camera work), for Emmy consideration

  • DeadSpyder

    Rooting for a renewal!

  • Sarah

Great show renew it. Look forward to it all winter….summer and Longmire what a great combo.

  • Audrey Zipkin

Longmire is a great show that continues to grow and evolve in story lines and
Character development. It really deserves another season and I hope that
    A & E renews it soon, please !
