Breaking Bad Season 5 Episode 10 Hank

Breaking Bad was Sunday's top cable program with a 2.4, down from last week's  2.9 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were too optimistic.   True Blood was second with a 2.3, up from last week's 2.2 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were about right.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search for specific shows.

Orphan Black had similar ratings and was renewed, The highest ratings on BBC America is 1m+ for Doctor Who so the benchmark isn’t high. I really want to know how Broadchurch is doing.

  • Jeffk

Orphan Black had similar total viewer numbers, but never fell below 0.10 demo though.

Thanks for the Degrassi numbers, Nick! Is there any way you could provide the numbers for the other episodes this summer?

  • Nathan

    @Nick
Thanks for the Nickelodeon numbers, Nick. :)

  • :)

    Thanks Nick, so much.

  • Jon Powell

Thank you for the ‘America The Wild’ numbers, Nick!

  • Nick

@Tom – in its first seven episodes, Copper averaged 427K total viewers and a .10 rating in the A18-49 demo.

@Degrassi fan – Degrassi averaged 396K total viewers and a .08 A18-49 demo rating in its previous five episodes.

  • Greg

Disastrous ratings for Low Winter Sun. No way it gets renewed. The Killing and Hell on Wheels are guaranteed to come back now.

  • Degrassi Fan

Thanks Nick for the average. Is there any way you could share the individual numbers though

  • denzack

Where the hell is Heck on Wheels?

  • TBFan

TB fell below 4 mil adults on premiere night for it’s S6 finale. By most standards that would be pretty good for a show with that many yrs on it, but HBO still doesn’t understand the fan base. TB is as much as a soap opera as it is supernatural so a 10 ep season doesn’t do it justice. They can easily stretch that 20 ep by featuring more ep that are mostly drama. It doesn’t need big budget action every week. It can get by just fine with southern charm.

TB’s S5 finale drew about 1mil more adults but the competition was weaker. DISC has all but ruled the night this summer with Skywire, the Shark live, & Naked & Afraid, & SHO has had strong premiere’s as well. But TB’s decline is more soap driven. Sookie’s love interests have paled in comparison to previous seasons. Fans prefer her with Bill or Eric, & S6 was a vast departure of that. The impending vampire battle though does provide a great setup for S7 but the personal stories leave less to be desired. There just isn’t that much there to talk about from now until next June.

  • BBFan

While the BB #’s are good the story does not lend itself to more seasons. Walt’s cancer is not only back, but the stress & pain in his life is a lot worse. He’s not in the right frame of mind to beat it this time. Jessie is like a hollow shell of himself. This season seems to offer little more than misery for both. That’s reminiscent of the last season of House.

BB avg’d over 3 mil adult viewers, & Low failed to hold even 700k. That’s awful so I won’t rule out the possibility of BB continuing even after Walt dies. They have a solid cast & baldy’s popularity has risen with UTD. I can’t imagine him not making it to S2 of that.

  • RIFan

I think the vast majority of Copper viewers are adults so fig about 200k then are 50+. Since BBCA is more geared towards news & shows like Gears than anything else I think they are happy with that. I think DISC has done the most damage vs it & I won’t be surprised if BBCA moves it for next season. The only doubt I have is the cost of
the show. It seems expensive so that drops the odds.

Hell on Wheels did excellent on Sat night. I fully expect AMC to give it more thons. Those #’s are in line with DISC’s Naked & Afraid season finale on Sat night. They also put Toonami’s #’s in perspective.

Nick as always, thanks for the WWE #’s. The site used to include them regularly & they bring perspective to Sat as well. Thanks for all the ratings!

Last, but not least, if you haven’t watched Rabbids give it a look. It’s highly entertaining & brings to mind the minions of Despicable Me. The adult #’s are not surprising when you consider that. Rabbids could grow to Spongebob status among adults.

  • CorkyFan

    I hope Copper gets renewed.

  • BBFan

If you read the helter-skelter state of The Walking Dead’s production from season to season at screenrant you’ll gain a better understanding of AMC. Cost cutting is paramount there. They are willing to go through different show runners & writers for each season TWD to align the show in the budget they desire. It’s not likely to be any different for their other shows. Renewal won’t be determined based on nominations. It will be determined by whether another season can be produced for the budget they desire. TWD’s budget was cut from $3.3m/ep to $2.7m/ep from S1 to S2. That’s how they treat their flagship show.
