For Third Consecutive Week, “La Tempestad” Helped Univision Rank #1 in 9 P.M. Hour Among Adults 18-34 and #2 For Adults 18-49

This Week, Univision Had Nine of Top 25 Programs Among Adults 18-49 and Twelve Among Adults 18-34

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 12, 2013 to August 18, 2013

·         For the week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in both demographics.  This marks the 12th consecutive week where Univision has ranked #3 or higher among both demographics.

·         Univision out-delivered two or more of the English-Language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights this week among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

·         Summer to date, Univision ranks as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS and FOX in both demographics.

·          This week, Univision had nine of the top 25 programs among Adults 18-49 and twelve among Adults 18-34.

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in each demographic.   Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both demographics.

·         On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC and CBS in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

·         On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34; top 10 for Adults 18-49.

·         On Friday, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both demographics.

·         Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and #2 among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 744,000 Adults 18-49, and 294,000 Adults 18-34.

·         On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 1.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 568,000 Adults 18-49, and 202,000 Adults 18-34.
ü Airing at 8:05 p.m., “Parodiando” averaged 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 Million Adults 18-49, and                 357,000 Adults 18-34.
ü  Following “Parodiando” at 9:50 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.3 Million, +9%), Adults 18-49 (1.0 Million, +24%), and Adults 18-34 (368,000, +21%).

·         At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  The novela averaged 3.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.0 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.0 Million Adults 18-34.

·         For the third consecutive week, Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.  The novela averaged 3.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 885,000 Adults 18-34.

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Que Bonito Amor” (Beautiful Love) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.   The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.4 Million, +7%), Adults 18-49 (1.6 Million, +7%), and Adults 18-34 (747,000, +3%).
