Upcoming guest stars include Leigh-Allyn Baker ("Good Luck Charlie") and Peyton Meyer (of Disney Channel’s upcoming "Girl Meets World"), who will recur as Wes, a schoolmate who catches Avery’s attention.

Beginning Sunday, September 15, will launch "Dog With A Blog K9 Coaching," a follow-up to its popular game "Stan's Sneaky Blog." Playing as Stan, fans can complete multiple quick, puzzle-oriented levels dedicated to helping other dogs "train their humans" to master tricks, follow commands and even help out around the house.

It’s the first day of school in the season premiere episode, "Too Short," and Avery’s classmates have had growth spurts over the summer, leaving her feeling insecure. Meanwhile, still dealing with the consequences of last year’s bad grades, Tyler must reveal to the entire school the shorter haircut his parents made him get, and Chloe pressures Ellen about her lunchbox contents which she believes will define her social status at school.

Starring are G Hannelius as Avery, Blake Michael as Tyler, Francesca Capaldi as Chloe, Beth Littleford as Ellen and Regan Burns as Bennett. Stephen Full voices Stan who is played by the canine performer, Mick.

"Dog With A Blog" is executive-produced by Emmy-winning producer Michael B. Kaplan ("Frasier," "Roseanne," "Doogie Howser, M.D." and Disney XD’s "I’m In The Band.") The series is a production of It's a Laugh Productions, Inc. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.

8-8:30 has been the perfect time slot for Disney channel, so lets see how dwab will do, it’s a shame it will now be the lead ins for wander over yonder but oh well

  • Liv

Lets hope season 2 will be great because it has happened to Disney shows in the past such as shake it up and austin and ally, season 1 was terrible, rating wise and comedy wise but for some reason season two changed everything, lets hope it irks for dog with a blog. But it is a smart move for Disney dwab does well in repeats on a Friday, even with korra premiering at 7 or 7:30, it won’t hurt it that much

  • Jane

Because of wander and dwab, Jessie, Gravity Falls and Phineas will go on a short hiatus 3 of Disney’s top Friday shows. Very smart moves by Disney channel, you never know how korra will be, but I hope wander does well throughout the series

  • Kissan

    Two questions:

So is Dog With A Blog moving to Fridays now?

What’s gonna air with it on that premiere day?

  • Jane

@Kissan yes dog with a blog is on Fridays now, liv and maddie will take the dwab slot, Jessie will go on hiatus after the season finale, and will start on September 20th

  • Nathan

Korra is having a 1 hour premiere on the 13th, the same night was Wonder’s official series premiere. It’s going to be an interesting night. Finally the real “competition” begins. Nick is also likely to put TMNT next to Korra on Friday nights, so they are definitely giving Disney a run for their money.

  • Curtis

@Nathan Truthfully, I feel like it is giving Cartoon Network a run for their money, mainly because it shows that Nick knows how to do action shows. Look at Cartoon Network’s action slate

Ben 10 Omniverse and Teen Titans Go! don’t deserve the action moniker
Legends of Chima was all hype but minimal deliver (Check Son of the Bronx for ratings)
All the dueling animes are early in the morning, but I don’t really care too much about them
Dragons: Defenders of Berk could be a hit or miss if it can deliver a good audience
Beware the Batman is the only good action show right now and it is getting little to no promotion because Cartoon Network still thinks Legends of Chima will pick up.

If Nick, The Hub, Nicktoons, and even Disney (or at least Disney XD) can do better at action than Cartoon Network (which was well known for running two action blocks at once before), then the real loser here is CN. Don’t get me wrong, some of the shows on it are good, but the action slate is awful, especially after the cancellation of Green Lantern and Young Justice. Oh well, I guess Cartoon Network will learn its lesson soon enough that you don’t cancel good shows.

  • #bravod

Korra has a big adult audience. Their first season was watched by as many adults as kids watched, so I don’t think it will have an effect. And it is on at 7…

  • Jane

@Curtis I agree because korra is not competing with any Disney channel show like how spongebob and phineas and ferb is competing, yes spongebob does better with tv rating however phineas and ferb or should I say perry the platypus sell way more than spongebob. Perry, Disney princesses and Cars are disneys best sellers, Disney has earned 33 billion dollars from it while nickelodeon is on 5 billion dollars. Anyway yes korra is competing and destroying the Cartoon Network action shows, who it’s competitor would be. However Cartoon Network is earning 2.6 billion dollars in toy sales and franchises with the 6 billion from Warner bro selling superman and looney toons, so they are still making money, that is what all these three companies are looking at, who is making the most money

  • Nicole

I agree, there is a chance even though the show isn’t good, dog with a blog might sell well in the toy market, and Disney would be happy

  • Nicole

Even though korra does excellent in rating and views, I can’t see them actually being profitable for nickelodeon like with spongebob, even icarly did well in selling products to the public, big time rush helps with cd sales that why it got the forth season even though ratings were low

  • Jon23812

Well at least there won’t be an eye sore on Disney’s Sunday night line-up anymore.

@Nathan, The Legend of Korra airs at 7PM. The Disney shows airs from 8PM – 10PM. So there’s really no competition. Unless Disney moves up to 7, since they now have 7 shows on Fridays.

  • Nathan

Has Nickelodeon even made any merchandise off the show?

Korra and the show that gets the 7:30 slot (likely TMNT) could still potentially have an effect on Disney’s lineup. Whichever program Disney chooses to air to lead into their Friday night programming could be hurt by Korra, which could have an effect on their Friday night lineup.

Like Jon said, where is Disney going to put 7 shows on Fridays? They likely have no choice but to move down to 7.

  • CS’ Revenge

Why are they pitting it right up against the season 3 premiere of Last Man Standing? They should’ve premiered the show either on the 6th or 13th.

  • Michael

    Ant Farm Fridays
    Jessie-Season ending September 27
Gravity falls- Season 2 2014 (Announced the creator)
    Phineas and Ferb Fridays
    Fish hooksFridays
Dog with a blog -Season 2 September 20 now on Fridays
    Wander over yonder- Fridays
    Good luck Charlie- Sundays
    Liv and maddie- Sundays
    Shake it up- ending Sundays
    Austin and ally Sundays

  • Michael

    On Friday seven shows?
    It would be
    Ant Farm
    Dog with a blog
    Wander over yonder
Phineas and Ferb or fish hooks if there on that
Night this is when Jessie is on Break for season 3

  • Michael

Disney has ways to put these shows on schedule
And putting there worst shows on Fridays Korra is
    Not gonna have a problem

  • Allen

#1 among 2-11 year olds… Yeah that pretty much sums it up. Only a 2 year old could find these crap Disney sitcoms entertaining.
