    It’s amazing how a repeat of HGN could almost catch up to SYTYCD and EWL in viewers and demo. And are those viewers correct for NCIS:LA?

  • Dillan

    Wow, the repeat of WLIIA did better than the original!

  • Ben Thompson

    Wow surprised to see the repeat of Whose Line beat the original.

  • Tom

    Even Under the Dome’s season low looks more and more impressive

  • John A

    Wow Whose Line repeat beat original. They should have made it a hr show.

  • John A

    A repeat on CW got a 0.9. When did that last happen if ever?

  • Ben Thompson

    @John A

    Vampire Diaries got a 0.9 for a repeat back in 2010.

  • Tony JJ

    Holy crap @ Whose line is it anyway?

  • John

    The repeats for Whos Line are a bigger hit than the originals!

  • HV

    Lol, forget about repeating anything else on the CW, just air Whose Line repeats when there isn’t original programing! I think this show will have a long life on the CW.

  • HV

    I think that Whose Line will stay 0.7-0.9 for the next few weeks. It will get crushed on Sept. 24 though, competing against the series premiere of SHIELD, the season premiere of NCIS, and the first half of the Tuesday premiere of The Voice. On Sept. 17 it may drop a bit but not beneath 0.6.

  • James

    If the CW airs 1 episode each Tuesday from here on out the finale will be on the 17th, not the 24th. SHIELD won’t get a change to crush WLIIA!!

  • omabin

    WOW at WLIIA repeat beating the original, that’s crazy.

  • HV

    Awesome! When I went onto Wikipedia it said the season would go until the 24th.

  • HV

    Wikipedia has Whose Line skipping a week on the 10th. I wonder why.

  • Igwell

    Whose Line skipping a week on the 10th. I wonder why.

    For those that might think the ratings are bad for SYTUCD , even with the ratings the show is so safe , if only because its an Emmy Winner / Nomination Cash Cow for FOX ,

    As long as SYTUCD is getting wins and nominations each year it is so safe ,, and if by some weird chance FOX dropped the show it would be picked up by another Network

    @Dillan et al
    Wow, the repeat of WLIIA did better than the original!

    It’s actually not that surprising, the HUT level for the 8:30pm half hour is higher than that for the 8pm half hour.

    Back in the day, it used to be very common to see an 8:30pm repeat beat an 8pm original for the same show. However, the steady increase of available options as well as the widespread use of DVRs has drastically lowered repeat ratings compared to originals so you don’t see it anymore except with the occasional unscripted show (e.g. Whose Line, Cops).

    My favorite repeat beating an original was at some point during the 90s, the Home Improvement season finale was the #2 show for the week… beaten by the Home Improvement repeat that followed it! ;)

    @John A
    Wow Whose Line repeat beat original. They should have made it a hr show.

    Why? It would then cost twice as much to produce and the ratings increase would be insignificant, so they would make less profit on the show.

    Yay capture yay capture

  • Kaylie

    At least Capture rose. Hopefully rises again next week.
