Bravo Media Renews 'Below Deck' as Season Finale Earns Highest-Rated Episode of the Series With 1.8 Million Total Viewers

NEW YORK – August 27, 2013 – Last night’s season finale of Bravo Media’s “Below Deck” scored 1.8 million total viewers and 966,000 A18-49, up 12 percent and five percent, respectively, from the prior week’s episode (08/19/13), according to Nielsen. This marks the highest-rated episode of the series among all key demos. Based on the success of the first season, which averaged 1.4 million total viewers and 809,000 A18-49, the network renewed the series for second season.

Tune in next Monday, September 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT to the “Below Deck” reunion special as Andy Cohen plays host to the crew of M/Y Honor as First Officer Aleks Taldykin, Chief Stew Adrienne Gang, Chef Ben Robinson, Boson Eddie Lucas, Second Stew Kat Held, Second Engineer C.J. LeBeau, Deckhand Dave Bradberry and Third Stew Sam Orme and talk about the most outrageous and controversial moments of the season. From Kat’s revelation about really happened the night she almost lost her job to Sam and C.J.’s current romantic status, the crew leaves no stone unturned and takes an in-depth look at the past season.

On Monday, September 9 at 10 pm ET/PT, “The Crew Tells All” special takes a look back at lost footage from the first season with never-before-seen cast interviews. Get a closer look at the outrageous hijinks of the charter guests and crew.

    This was a surprisingly good show with interesting people.

    I hope most of them return and they don’t do a new “cast”.

    This was an interesting show that I looked forward to each week. Glad it will be back, different cast members are fine with me. We know these people’s personalities, let us meet some new ones, except the chef who was the most interesting of the lot, he needs to return.
