Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 19, 2013 to August 25, 2013

·         For the week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC and FOX in both demographics.  This marks the 13th consecutive week where Univision has ranked #3 or higher among both demographics.

·         Summer to date, Univision ranks as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in both demographics.

·         Univision out-delivered two or more of the English-Language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights this week among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

·          This week, Univision had eleven of the top 25 programs among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering, ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.   Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both demographics.

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both demographics.

·         On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

·         On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34; top 10 for Adults 18-49.

·         On Friday, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both demographics.

·         Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.0 Million, +6%), Adults 18-49 (821,000, +10%), and Adults 18-34 (352,000, +20%).

·         On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (1.6 Million, +16%), Adults 18-49 (772,000, +36%), and Adults 18-34 (261,000, +29%).
ü Airing at 8:05 p.m., “Parodiando” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.5 Million, +4%), Adults 18-49 (1.1 Million, +11%), Adults 18-34 (401,000, +12%).
ü  Following “Parodiando” at 9:45 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 2.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 846,000 Adults 18-49, and 312,000 Adults 18-34.

·         At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.0 Million, +2%), Adults 18-49 (2.0 Million, +1%), and Adults 18-34 (1.0 Million, +1%).

·         Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.7 Million, +8%), Adults 18-49 (1.9 Million, +6%), and Adults 18-34 (973,000, +10%).

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Que Bonito Amor” (Beautiful Love) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.   The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.5 Million, +4%), Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million, +6%), and Adults 18-34 (786,000, +5%).

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 19, 2013 to August 25, 2013

In the current 2012/2013 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2011/2012 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%) during broadcast prime.

On Monday night UniMás reported double digit percentage gains over its prior Monday performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+20%), Adults 18-49 (+30%), and Adults 18-34 (+39%).
ü  UniMás kicked off the night with a feature presentation of “Desafio Mortal” and delivered significantly more viewers than the previous Monday film “El Forastero” among Adults 18-49 (+60% to 253,000) and among Adults 18-34 (+72% to 115,000).
ü  At 9pm, “La Selección,” attracted more viewers than its lead-in, airing its highest rated episode to date since premiere (8/5/13) among Adults 18-34.  Furthermore “La Selección” reported double-digit gains versus it prior Monday telecast among Adults 18-49 (+30%, 268,000) and Adults 18-34 (+54%, 149,000).

On Tuesday night UniMás grew its audience versus the prior Tuesday among Total Viewers 2+ (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%).
ü  Airing “Today You Die” UniMás significantly boosted its “Cineplex” ratings from the prior Tuesday movie presentation “Shanghai Noon” among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 525,000) and Adults 18-49 (+35% to 244,000).
ü  Following at 9 p.m. “La Seleccion” averaged its highest-rated performance thus far among Adults 18-34 (154,000) and retained its Adult 18-49 audience levels from last Monday night at 268,000 viewers.
ü  “Cloroformo” generated night-to-night audience lifts of +9% among Adults 18-49 (138,000).

Friday night’s encore presentation of “La Seleccion” on UniMás reported audience increases over its prior Friday performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+12%) and Adults 18-34 (+42%).

“La Seleccion” reported week-over-week audience increases during the 9 p.m. hour (Mon-Thurs) among Adults 18-49 (+2%) and Adults 18-34 (+5%).

UniMás delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+11%), Adults 18-49 (+26%), and Adults 18-34 (+49%).

UniMás attracted 378,000 Total Viewers 2+, 201,000 Adults 18-49, and 94,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
