Well, Thursday’s episode of Y&R came (after Katherine’s memorial) and we’re back to the dreaded 4 again — one note Adam, gaspy Chelsea, dweeb Dylan, and Martha Stewart Avery. 3 of them were basically the entire episode as I knew it would be after they wrapped up Katherine’s episodes. I still don’t get why the producers/writers are so obsessed with these characters? I would get it if the show had a million more total viewers over this time last year, or a 100,000 more in the 18-49, but they don’t. ???

Jonboy…I’d like to be optimistic, but Phelps really hasn’t done anything for me to feel that way.

Putting TWO former ABC writers in charge of the most character driven Daytime Soap ever just doesn’t seem to mesh.

JG was an improvement over MAB, but not great, so these two will be worse I fear.

@Mike, with regard to PP…I think a Kickstarter Campaign could have done a better job producing the online soaps than these so called “industry honchos”. What a bunch of BS! I really feel for the cast and crew (and of course the fans) to have put their faith in these idiots. I enjoyed OLTL 2.0 on Hulu and OWN and was perfectly happy without the GH3 (although I admit I loved seeing Todd & Blair together). Just another lame excuse on top of a mountain of lame excuses by this outfit.

@jonboyelk, I had the same reaction to Olivia when Connie died. Why couldn’t it have been Olivia? lol.

@MBmomof3– I thought the same thing about kickstarter. If Veronica Mars, which was NEVER a hit, and definitely has less fans than AMC and OLTL can get enough money to make a movie, I think the soaps would have been a sure bet.

I agree with you about being on One Life To Live’s side in all this.

Oh and I can’t link it here as every time I try to post a link my post never shows up. But everyone needs to go to Xfinity and check out Sara Bibel’s article on this. It is wonderful and asks all the right questions. If only she and all of us could get answers.
