Yaayy Motive! Hope to see you next Summer!

People are so stupid if they are shocked BB went down. There was football on most channels.

  • Igwell

There was football on most channels.

Thank you, this is is the first I’m hearing of this.

No issue with the BB numbers given just how many markers were preempted last night for the NFL , given that it was a full night of Preseason Football for most of us those are some very impressive numbers

  • tested

Tried to post this earlier but it didn’t seem to take.
Football got about a 2.9/7 in the 18-49 demo and about 9.5 million viewers.
That’s what you get if you subtract the prelims from the final numbers here.
It is amazing to me that terrible preseason NFL games can get so many viewers.

  • Max Vrany

@tested, figuring out the NFL viewers isn’t quite that simple. There are other factors that play into adjustments.

I’m disappointed that Julie Chenn went so easy on the racist. She should have made her feel less than human, which she is.

  • jr YOU WING

Big Brother being on tv proves the decadent and simple minded culture the USA has evolved into. Pure drek. Boring and a bunch of losers.

  • jr YOU WING

What makes you think Julie Chen is not racist towards white people? Aaryn was foolish enough to broadcast her feelings vs. most who hide their feelings. Look at the Seinfeld episode when Frank Costanza catches the Korean women mocking him and Elaine. Racism is all over the world and unfortunately will never change.

Stupid football delayed BB for 5.5 hrs. Til 2:07am, how could the ratings not drop?

  • John

1.8 for BB is actually pretty good considering it was preempted in 40% of the country.

Next weeks ratings should be way up without the preemptions and with the double eviction and the possibility of Amanda leaving!

  • Browneyes122

Fans warned CBS we we disgusted with Amanda’s death and rape threats towards multiple house guests and that if CBS continued to cover it up and let Amanda slide by with no consequences we would stop watching.

  • cherie

A lot of people, including me, couldn’t watch it because it was preempted by sports!!!! Mine wasn’t on until 1:30 in the am on Friday AM. Add all those totals of people who had to tape it and watch it later!! So annoying. This is the second time for us… How about we keep the sports on the sports channels and quit messing with our shows!!!

  • jj

Shut up cherie. Sports brings in more money than any show that’s ever been on tv. Last time I checked networks are in the business of making money. Sports will always be bigger than any of your shows.
