This is what I expected! This show built in every episode and this is third highest telecast ever on OWN (Oprah w/ Bobby Kristina + Lance Armstrong rank first and second, respectively). This is good for OWN because now Oprah doesn’t have to have a major interview every quarter. Last month OWN averaged 537k viewers. This puts them third in women behind Lifetime and TLC. And the “Haves & Have Nots” will be ordering 20 episodes that will air from January to May of next year. Hopefully, OWN can go even higher!

The Haves and Have Nots was one of the most dramatic series I’ve ever seen. Not surprised it continued to build its audience as each episode unfolded. Great season so far. Can’t wait til January!

Tyler Perry saves another media company.

He (along with “Saw”) made Lionsgate.

Now he is pulling Oprah’s bacon out of the fire.
