NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I wonder what ratings Nikita would get as a summer show

  • rob60990

The Neighbors repeat went down from last week while Last Man Standing went up. Cant wait for this show to fail in its new timeslot.

  • John A

Nikita would get Perfect Score type ratings in summer it was getting those numbers in the spring. Lol at Teach but what else would CBS expect.

  • Katb

    Dateline was new.

  • EatMorePez

That’s got to be the most uneventful night in the history of network television.

  • E.S.

Personally, I thought that “Teach” would hit the dreaded 0.3/1 in demo and have around one million viewers as a whole. I mean, who wants to watch a documentary about public school teachers outside of those who work in the public education system?

  • Nick

Lol at LMS being the #1 show at 8pm in viewers. I hope it does well this season on Fridays. Maybe if one of their Wednesday shows tank they can move it there, where it belongs.

  • JacobYates

I understand you don’t like the Neighbors, but why do you want it to fail? Repeat airings are not exactly a huge indicator that a show will fail. Neighbors is not for everybody, but wishing for it to fail is just low down. Just don’t watch it.

  • Joseph

I wonder how Univision did last night (September 6th).

With such low numbers for the English-language broadcast networks, Univision likely topped the 18-49 and 18-34 demos among broadcast networks, and might even have had a shot of winning the 8-9 P.m. EDT/PDT hour in total viewers among broadcast nets.

However, in many cities (especially those who have teams in the pennant races), local baseball probably ruled the night.

  • Alex

If one of the new Wednesday comedy fails ABC is most likely going to put suburgatory in one of the slots rather than LMS. LMS would really only move to wednesday if suburgatory also failed which is kind of unlikely.

rob60990 has to hate something – it’s his thing

  • CBSviewer

    Teach wasn’t that bad.

  • a p garcia

Betty White did OK considering it was a repeat

  • colt13

I don’t care how bad the ratings are, Perfect Score is fun to watch.

  • John A

Yeah very good for Betty White repeats. Maybe it might have worked friday nights.

  • Networkman

If I’m not mistaken, Blue Bloods did better this week in the demo airing after Teach than what it did last week after Hawaii Five-O. The Neighbors continue to do fine in its new timeslot. Once the regular season begins I can see it garnering 1 million less viewers than Last Man Standing. That should still be acceptable, especially if LMS is able to garner over 8 million viewers.

I still don’t understand why NBC cancelled Betty White’s Off Their Rockers. It won the hour in the demo and I believe it has won the hour in total viewers as well. It could have remained a Summer Show. Imagine if it had aired a new episode. It would have been able to crack 1.0 demo.

  • Mathew

Betty whites rockers had low ratings for the last 4 episodes but that was only cuz NBC aired them weirdly so sad cuz I love Betty white but shouldn’t she retire after hot in Cleveland ends

  • Sonicphoto

Actually Nikita repeats were getting 0.3s and 0.2s so it could manage a few more views if it were originals. It didn’t go bad for a repeat show.

  • Jumbotron

Looks like ‘Teach’…*puts on sunglasses*…got schooled.

  • CBSviewer

    @ Networkman

I still don’t understand why NBC cancelled Betty White’s Off Their Rockers

The Hollywood Reporter reported that NBC had canceled the series, citing a drop-off in ratings and low DVR viewership.
