Dust off your Huey Lewis and the News tapes, because FX is developing a TV series that will act as a sequel to Bret Easton Ellis’ cult classic American Psycho. Here's the official synopsis:

In the new drama series, iconic serial killer Patrick Bateman, now in his mid-50’s but as outrageous and lethal as ever, takes on a protégé in a sadistic social experiment who will become every bit his equal — a next generation American Psycho

Ugh. Please leave this great film and its characters alone

  • MeTwo

Adrian Pasdar should be cast for the main role! Jim Profit returns!

  • Ivan

The movie was epic. Awesome news really. FX never screws up … so really excited.

    FX never screws up

Well, if you don’t count that animated show about teens, whatever it was called, and Anger Management, of course.

  • JC

If this was any other network I’d be worried. FX always seems to do it right.

Anger Management is not a real FX series. They have almost no creative Input. They just buy and air it. That’s why it feels more like Two and a Half Men than Louie or Wilfred.

Sounds good to me. I would be interested in watching it.

    “iconic serial killer Patrick Bateman’

Patrick Bateman never killed anyone. not one person.

  • Bill

Patrick Bateman didn’t kill anybody, he hallucinated the whole thing. Great job FX
