In case anyone missed it on the other two threads…

CBS is rebroadcasting last night’s episode of Under the Dome on Saturday at 9:00pm.

  • Mon

Not bad for Under the Dome. Even the repeats of 2.5 Men and 2BG were lower than usual. Wow TBBT did really well. It’s kinda amazing how many people show up for a special of TBBT. There was also a repeat on TBS at 10pm which probably got around 1.0.

  • Billy

Amazing that The Big Bang Theory basically doubled the ratings of the other two sitcoms of Two and a Half Men and 2 Broke Girls.

  • Simon

So I guess the ratings for Under the Dome last night won’t officially be counted in the full season numbers due to the last minute preemptions?

  • EatMorePez

CBS had to air a repeat of Two and a Half Men and then start Under the Dome, local news and David Letterman 25 minutes late. That sounds like a decision NBC would make.

  • Petar Ivanov

ALL THIS MESS for 0.6 demo sound like joke to me. sorry

NBC would probably have just joined Two and a Half Men in progress and started everything else on time. CBS virtually never* joins programming in progress and instead chooses to extend primetime.

    * I can’t recall them ever not doing so, but if someone has an example of CBS using JIP for primetime programming in the past 30 years, it’s always fun to learn something new.

    Poor Mistresses :(

Doubtful. Delayed programming on CBS is typically treated as regular airings for their other shows.

Of course, last week’s episode, which aired on time and hit a five-week high isn’t being counted in the season average because it was denoted as a special.

Mistresses jump last week was just a fluke I guess.

  • Hardline_Pro

    @EatMorePez – Couldn’t agree more.

    UTD = dead.

  • Wright

    Stupid US Open

  • DenverDean

CBS really blew this one. I mean flipping Tennis opposite MNF? Who was this genius. Anyway, further proof that sports delays impact the 10 p.m. shows disproportionally. What’s even better is that UTD can’t make up the audience in L+3 or L+7 because no one expected it to start at 1030. CBS stick with football and leave these lame sports to CBSSports Cable.

  • AllOfHerTwist

The US Open burst the Dome’s bubble.

UTD = Already renewed for next summer.

  • Gman1966

Can’t believe Mistresses dropped that much. Hope it will get renewed anyway

  • Samunto

Poor Mistresses, that doesn’t bode well for a renewal despite the fact that the finale was soooo good!

I still can’t fathom why CBS had to air a comedy at 10pm then UTD half an hour later.

  • BigBrotherFan

Damn Mistrisses! I wish that 1.4 would of stick

In the past, the U.S. Open Men’s Final aired (or was supposed to air) on Sunday afternoon against FOX’s national doubleheader; that game got a 10.6 A18-49 rating while Monday Night Football only had a 6.6 rating.

    I don’t see the problem.

What’s even better is that UTD can’t make up the audience in L+3 or L+7 because no one expected it to start at 1030.

But it can make it up with a Saturday repeat.

CBS stick with football and leave these lame sports to CBSSports Cable.

Not going to happen. CBS is obviously committed to year-round sports broadcasts.

It looks like US Open only hurt CBS…it was too confusing…starting UTD 25 minutes late…when US OPen ended with a Zillion commercials that followed to only a few minutes before 9pm (8PM central) – they should have aired extra promos during the 9-10 hour of new shows…then UTD would have started on time…

I mean -really?!?… you let 4 minutes early turn into 24-25 minutes late?
Plus CBS didn’t let the viewers know UTD starts 24 minutes late until 10 minutes into TBBT… dumb!!!! – and it cost you; CBS!!!
