The X Factor premieres its third season tonight with new judges Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland. Will the new talent bring in the ratings? Or is The X Factor season premiere going to fizzle? Last year's season two debut pulled in a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating (against NBC's The Voice), and the finale earned a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating. Make your predictions below and let us know why in the comments!

    there isnt any hype this season, and the new judges are nobody’s so im gonna guess around a 2.6, the news around simon cowel has nothin to do with xfactor so i dont see it afecting anyone, and today at work no one knew xfactor was on tonight i just reminded anyone, none seemed to interested this year

    The X-Factor – 3.4
    MasterChef – 2.8
    AGT – 2.3

  • Edward Mooney

    X tween factor 2.1

    Big pennant-race baseball games in several cities will depress broadcast-network viewing tonight, especially before 10 P.M. EDT.

    I don’t think “X-Factor U.S.A.”‘s premiere will be as watched as last year’s opener, but will do relative well. Relatively well, not “gangbusters”.

  • Alan

    Paulina is not even that popular. I’m mexican and she’s only famous when she has catchy songs

    @Joseph

    You’re delusional, as per usual.

    Even if we pretend that baseball would actually affect broadcast entertainment ratings, this is a season in which 80-90% of the playoff spots have been wrapped up for quite some time.

  • Paul P

    Less than 2.0.

  • Michael

    I actually respect the fact that Simon isn’t trying to attract star power this season. Last season, he had Britney Spears, who’s arguably the biggest popstar of the millennium and ratings did NOT improve! Paulina Rubio is unknown, but I think this will put her in the map to stardom. Her personality is very similar to Christina Aguilera’s judging techniques.

    Prediction: 8.7 million; 3.1

  • USAmerica1st

    2.5 because it’s the season premier with new personnel in Paulina and Kelly.

  • JR35

    I’ll say in the range of a 2.6-3.0 range.

  • Jared

    I’ll watch The X Factor simply because there is nothing else on tonight but this season has ZERO buzz around it. Oh well can’t wait for the season premieres of Arrow and The Tomorrow People!

  • AJS

    3.0 – 3.2 range.

  • Tony ^_^

    2.8

  • Riley

    2.7

  • Mr Mikey

    @Joseph

    LOL, nobody watches baseball.

  • SJ

    2.1-2.3, there’s no real buzz this season… I’ll probably watch it for the trash value but I’ve been over my talent competition phase for a while now.

  • tasha

    2.8

  • BG

    2.7-2.9
