Burbank, CA (September 11, 2013) – Fans of the former ABC Family series, “The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” will finally know how the series ends when the network and Alloy Entertainment makes the script for “The Nine Lives of Chloe King: Salvation,” the two-hour movie of the week, available online. The series conclusion will be posted on Alloy’s Entertainment’s official site (http://alloyentertainment.com/) on Friday, September 13 at 9:13AM PT.

“Although we ultimately decided not to continue with the series, we wanted to make the Chloe King movie script available to her amazing fans to provide them the closure they’ve been clamoring for,” said Kate Juergens, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development and Chief Creative Officer, ABC Family.

When viewers last saw Chloe, a descendant of the ancient Mai race, she had lost one of her nine lives courtesy of the assassin Simone. Brian appeared to have succumbed to Chloe’s fatal kiss, while Jasmine and her mom, Valentina, the leader of the local Mai pride, were attacked by the unpredictably violent Zane and left to die. The script will answer fans’ lingering questions about The Order, Whitley Rezza’s true motivations, Alek’s past and whether Meredith will finally learn about her daughter’s secret identity. Also, Chloe will choose between Brian and Alek.

“The Nine Lives of Chloe King: Salvation” television movie was written by Dan Berendsen (“Baby Daddy,” “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “Hannah Montana: The Movie”) and Ron McGee (“Girl vs. Monster.”) “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” serial drama was executive-produced by Berendsen and John Ziffren (“Melissa & Joey,” “Make It or Break It”) with Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein (“Pretty Little Liars,” “The Lying Game,” “Gossip Girl,” “The Vampire Diaries”) and Gina Girolamo. The one-hour drama was based on the book series “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” by Liz Braswell.

The series starred Skyler Samuels (“The Gates”) as Chloe King; Amy Pietz (“The Office,” “Caroline in the City”) as Meredith King; Grey Damon (“True Blood,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Twisted”) as Brian; Grace Phipps as Amy (“Teen Beach Movie”; “The Vampire Diaries”); Benjamin Stone (“10 Things I Hate About You”) as Alek; Alyssa Diaz (“Army Wives;” “Southland”) as Jasmine; and Ki Hong Lee (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) as Paul.

This show was severely underrated. I admit, it was really bad at first, but half of the first season it started to get really good! The finale was pretty amazing.

So no movie (like filmed movie) but just the script?

  • AniMatsuri

I wonder if any really dedicated fans will shoot a youtube video based on this script?

  • VM

@AniMatsuri That would have been amazing!

I am happy with the script. I lost all my hopes last year when the producers said there would be no movie… Too bad, because this series still creates buzz online, and the movie wouldn’t go to waste but at least they are releasing the movie script, they could’ve not done it, but they did. we will get closure. :)
