    Yay.

  • alim

yay… but seriously sort out your casting will you??

  • CBSviewer

Not a surprise. Big Brother is still a solid performer.

  • andy

Yesss!! bet next summer will be allstars

  • Kaaboom

    YESS :D

  • CrimTV

great! woohoo. Now just announce it’s an allstar season and we’ll all be happy :D

  • Michael

I hate that After Dark is on TVGN (everything is censored). Showtime needs to bring it back!

  • Blair

ALL STARS PLEASE: This should be the cast from BB8 onwards:

Evel Dick (BB8), Danielle (BB8, BB13), Jessie (BB 11), Russel (BB11), Jeff (BB11, BB13), Rachel (BB12, BB13), Shelley (BB13), Elissa (BB 15), Lydia – (BB11- for drama, lol) Amanda (BB 15), Jeremy or Nick or Howard (BB15), Dan (BB10, BB 14), Frank (BB14), Ian (BB14), Matt (BB 12) and Janelle (even though she was in the first all-stars, lol)

  • Kate

I read that the production team will be switched up next year, including the casting director, so hopefully they’ll find some good, normal people.

I would love an all-stars season, but they might want to hold off for 1-3 more years, considering the facts that some of the more memorable/popular players have already appeared twice since the last all-stars (Jeff, Jordan, Rachel, Evel Dick, Daniele, Britney, Dan, Jessie) and I don’t really care for people playing a 3rd time.

  • CrimTV

    @Kate

If CBS want to bring some life back into the show, to stop it from falling in the ratings, they need another All stars, it’s been 7 years!

  • Survivor Fan

I would say that it is 70% that season 16 will be all-stars. It is about time.

  • Cody

    @alim

Even though the cast members were heavily criticized, you can’t argue with ratings. It was a pretty large improvement over last season, even though people loved that cast and hated this one. It is the same thing with the Yankees and Cowboys. People say they hate them, but will still watch them.

  • Mon

Last year’s BB was against the Olympics maybe that’s why BB has been up this year.

If next season’s going to be an all-star, the only HG from this season I would like to be back are Elissa, Amanda or Helen.

    Big Brother 14 averaged a 2.2 Live+SD A18-49 rating (all nights).

    Big Brother 15 is averaging a 2.2 Live+SD A18-49 rating (all nights).

Last year was pretty awful because Grodner kept rigging and saving Frank and trying to make that unshowered meathead the next Jeff. Dan is an unlikeable jerk so seeing him run puppetmaster on noobs was not really fun and this years racist cast is more likeable then him as evidenced by the rating.

Looking at Blair’s post is why I hope all stars never happens. Sure while I think Rusell from season 11,Matt from the Brigade and Shelley getting 2nd chances would be interesting I really think anyone appearing on this 3-4 times is just overkill as the egos get bigger and bigger the more they appear. No more Jeff the homophobe,Janelle,Rachel,Boogie or ED. Let a new generation have their chance.

BB 16 – International All Stars FTW!!! Come on CBS this season has proved that Americans could be well served with exposure to other cultures!!! Give America what it wants and what it needs!

  • Darryl

This comes as a “mild” shock due to the semi lacking ratings this season. Kinda forgot what last season averaged, but I hope the casting improved next season. And if the rumors are true PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I hope Allison Grodner is GONE!

  • Ultima

How are the ratings lacking? It was flat year-to-year.

There was absolutely no chance Big Brother wasn’t getting renewed, so no one should be shocked, mildly or otherwise.

  • rgxx

Read its renewal…and I just threw up a little in my mouth.

  • romo

Will they realize it will be 2014 & go HD ? Not.
