NO. 5-RANKED STANFORD VISITS ARMY TO KICK OFF SATURDAY’S
COLLEGE FOOTBALL ACTION ON CBS SPORTS NEWORK
CBS Sports Network airs a college football tripleheader on Saturday, Sept. 14 beginning with *No. 5-ranked Stanford at Army (12:00 NOON, ET). Ben Holden and Tom Bradley call the action at Michie Stadium, along with reporter Kristine Leahy. John Feinstein joins coverage of Army Football all season long contributing a series of essays.
CBS Sports Network’s Navy football coverage kicks off with Delaware at Navy (3:30 PM, ET) from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. Brad Johansen, Randy Cross and Sheehan Stanwick Burch announce. Action continues with Kansas at Rice (7:30 PM, ET) from Rice Stadium in Houston, Texas. Dave Ryan and Adam Archuleta handle the call, with Evan Washburn reporting from the sidelines.
Saturday’s studio programming features SEC TONIGHT presented by GEICO (7:00 PM, ET) as host Brent Stover and analysts Houston Nutt, Aaron Taylor and Christian Fauria provide post-game coverage of CBS Sports’ “SEC Game of the Week” featuring No. 1-ranked Alabama vs. No. 6-ranked Texas A&M, and discuss the rest of the day’s SEC action. INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL, the Network’s pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, returns at 1:00 AM, ET with host Adam Zucker to wrap up the day with news and highlights from across the country.
