Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Under the Dome repeated well. Hopefully there will be a large rise in the ratings on Monday. Great show, and deserves the ratings.

  • Nothing But Cancellation

    MSQ dropped only one tenth.

I was thinking that this crap was going to score a 0.4-0.5

  • John A

CBS Preempted? The comedies look too high.

  • rob60990

The CBS comedies had a huge lead-in with the college footbapl game.

  • HalCapone

ABC will once again dominate on Saturday with college gridiron, especially since ESPN controls something like 85% of college football games.

  • HalCapone

Maybe NBC should up their game by changing it to the Billion Second Quiz. A cheesy game show will not perform well on any night, especially on the lowest viewing night of the week and against any sort of football game.

  • CBSviewer

The Million Dollar Quiz did well considering it was on Saturday and against Football. Only down 0.1 from Friday is good.

  • Flame

I expected MSQ to be further down. But it was still beaten by its repeat lead out.

  • Don

Ryan Seacrest is no Alex Trebek.

    48 Hours did great !!!

  • SJ

Another day, another drop for Million Second Quiz. Pathetic.

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

Mike & Molly and Two and a Half Men are the best comedies to air on Saturdays because they are already CBS’ lowest skewing comedies and the ones most likely to keep a Saturday audience.

  • CBSviewer

    @ Patrick Ausgewahlt

they are already CBS’ lowest skewing comedies

Last season, Two and a Half Men had an average of 4.1 while HIMYM and 2 Broke Girls averaged 3.7.

It seems the networks don’t get it over the last few years. No one cares about how many cats you have, what kind of car you drive, or how many snow globes you own. Its getting so bad with American Idol, American Ninja Worrier, and now Million Second Quiz where half the show is talking to the contestant about life. I don’t care. Sing a song, go through the obstacle course, and ask more questions. Jeopardy has been on the air for a thousand years because it’s nonstop question and answer.

  • Joseph

Why couldn’t CBS have been able to move the Alabama/Texas A&M college football game into prime-time??

It would have dominated the night’s ratings and might have drawn as many viewers as ABC, Fox, and NBC combined.

  • jp

Ok number even though Notre Dame is wayyyyy better than Purdue. Next week wiil be bad for ABC because outside of Michigan, neither team on the Saturday Night split national coverage will be ranked in the top 25. Overall this will be a bad week of college football on all the networks especially FOX and ABC.
