via press note:

The Live +3 numbers are in for last Monday-Wednesday and THE X FACTOR premiere grew by +23% (from 2.2 to a 2.7) after three days of post-same day viewing:

  • This marks a significant uptick in the % of its A18-49 performance accounted for by post-same day playback within 3 days versus last season (+23% vs. +15% for last year’s 2-hour premiere) and the same absolute ratings gain as last season (+0.5).
  • In fact, with the L3 gains, THE X FACTOR premiere now out-rates last week’s CBS’ Big Brother-Weds (2.7/9 vs. 2.5).
  • Also, the show’s core Adults 18-34 rating saw an even bigger gain versus Live + Same Day (+0.6 of a rating point – up +38%)
