Remember when people were saying The Voice was gonna crash and burn last fall? I have a feeling they’ll be surprised next week the show premieres and it wins the night.

Oh Big Brother Fan, we disagree again! Your CBS numbers for Monday are too high. No way, Mom beats 2 Broke Girls. And therefore, your Hostages estimate is also too high.

  • David Howell

I didn’t see pages 2-5, but yes, Strictly Come Dancing (the UK mothership of the DWTS format) airs Saturday and Sunday in the UK, September to December.

Technically, that’s not a deal breaker because the Sunday show is taped on Saturday night, but there’s no flight from London to LAX late Saturday night, only on Sunday. And I think the first scheduled flight doesn’t get into LAX until early afternoon PT. I don’t know if the landing slots would be available for private jets for such a flight and its return, but you’d have to suspect it’d be worthwhile for ABC if they could because being able to switch Sunday and Monday is a half point in 18-49 across both nights, and that’s worth a whole lot more than chartering a jet.

While I enjoy premiere ratings just to see how things start out, they really don’t mean much in the long run I feel like. I bet CBS Monday will premiere big because of the final season of HIMYM and apparently everyone is on the bandwagon of loving the girl who plays the mother. I expect the Voice will do well next week too because people apparently still want to watch no talent people trying to become famous only to have no successful music career after winning because they haven’t learned that reality shows suck yet. Maybe NBC will bounce back a little from last season with some of their pilots but who really knows anymore, as sometimes I think people just put their TV on CBS and leave it there no matter what crap they play.

the sleepy hollow premier was ok but a full season will ware thin very quickly. It should have been a mini series. Also the two main characters were a bit lame

I truly enjoyed Sleepy Hallow, even if John Cho and Clancy Brown were killed off in the first hour. Damn to that! In any case, this seems better than Under the Dome so I will keep watching.

Sleepy Hollow is one of the best series I have seen in awhile, writing, acting and story line was great!

  • Spartacus 6666

Sleepy hollow was fantastic. UTD was good and so was Siberia. Bones same old, same old. Next week Hostages and Blacklist.

  • lostboy

Sleepy Hollow was better than expected. However not the best new series.

People if you have not watched NetFlix original Orange IS the New Black you are missing out. That show is the Best series to come a long for years.

UTD was horrible, and yes I watched evey painful episode with an eye roll.
I am sure it had to be a sci-fi spoof kinda like Scary Movie 1-5.

Back to Sleepy Hollow acting, writing, and special effects were awesome.
This show I will enjoy without lmao, unlike UTDumber. Man people must be desperate for tv in the summer and that includes myself. I will not put myself through 13 weeks of Misery no pun intended Mr. King again for the cheesiest show EVER.I am taking a STAND never to watch UTD for S2. Good grief, people make fun of REVOLUTION, The Following and Hannibal. Think People Think do you think it is possible CBS fudged the numbers or are we that desperate for Sci-Fi. I know I never watched that stupid show live or even in the Live+3.

  • lostboy

I agree people must leave the television on CBS no matter what crap is on. I swear thay have the Nielson family kidnapped or have some dirt on them.
I not sure if the people are actually dead, considering the average viewer is 79.2. Maybe dead people are watching, that would explain UTD ratings or CSI/NCSI/NCSILA/POI/Mentalist/BooBloods. CMON MAN at least Bring back Cold Case that was the last good show since the 1970’s. Man I hate CBS.
I can hear my parents screaming in the background don’t change that channel Gunsmoke is on. No Pop’s that is not the original H50. Just a bunch a bad acting, but yeah it’s filmed in Hawaii.

Enjoyed Sleepy Hollow. Will give it a shot.

Bones I am glad it is moving towards the top. How come my vote doesn’t count because I am 71. Love Bones.
