Breaking Bad 515 Jesse

Breaking Bad was Sunday's top cable program with a 3.2 way up from last week's 2.6 adults 18-49 rating. NFL Countdown and Real Housewives of New Jersey tied for second with each earning a 1.1. NFL Countdown was even with last week, while Real Housewives of New Jersey was up from a 1.0.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search for specific shows.

    @FlorianNz

    WRONG! Not possible! If it had an A18-49 rating of 0.4 it would have appeared in the chart above (which clearly it does NOT). Perhaps it may have had a 0.4 if you add the ratings for ALL of its airings (two or three) Sunday night. But you are certainly wrong about it having a 0.4 in its original airing, at least according to the chart above.

  • RottieGirl

    Is there any word on Hell on Wheels ratings? Please & thank you.

  • Shan Dally

    Anyone know how Hell On Wheels did on Saturday

  • shogun

    Boardwalk Empire was great Sunday. I hope it’s making up it’s numbers on HBOGO.

  • shogun

    @olebud03

    The chart lists the top 100 shows from 25-54, not 18-49. LWS has already failed to make the list at a 0.3 but still get a 0.4, so he might be right.

  • Ike

    @olebud03, incorrect. Read the red text at the top of the article. FIRST, they get the top 100 in adults *25-54* (not a typo, that’s 25-54, NOT 18-49). THEN, they RE-sort the list by adults 18-49. So a show can get an 0.4 in adults 18-49, but if it wasn’t in the top 100 in *25-54*, then it won’t be on the list. This often happens with younger-skewing shows.

    In any case, Low Winter Sun is doomed, that’s for sure.

  • rob60990

    Very strong for Breaking Bad.

    lol at A&E now pushing people to buy Bates Motel on DVD. Give it up A&E. The show is a disappointment.

  • FlorianNz

    @olebud03

    I’m sorry, but you’re the one who’s wrong. I have the information, you don’t, correct? Why would I lie about it? Seriously. I guess the “We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source.” wasn’t red enough for you!

    @Shan Dally

    Hell on Wheels: 2 million viewers and 0.4 A18-49 (0.7 A25–54).

  • FlorianNz

    Thank you, shogun & Ike! Anyway, you’re right, the show is dead.

  • svsnt021

    @Nick
    If you’re still around, could you post #s for Sandwich King (FOOD, Sun 11:00AM) Thanks so much in advance!!!

  • Tina F.

    Breaking Bad was so fcuking awesome, best Episode of the whole series.
    I’m pretty AMC will produce a Spinoff with this numbers.

  • KJ Styles

    Breaking Bad is THE BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME, PERIOD!!!

    3.2 for a cable show up against SNF, Big Brother, Yankees/Red Sox, Miss America, and a WWE Pay Per View is impressive! Only Walking Dead could best that. And that episode is one of the best in TV history.

  • Jon

    Breaking Bad is simply one of the best shows created

    Is Boardwalk Empire on danger because that is some bad numbers even being beat by Dexter from the small Showtime got to sting ?

  • Jon

    The Breaking Bad and TWD spin offs sounds like really bad ideas imo.

  • steve

    Sunday’s Breaking Bad was definitely one of the best hours of television ever produced.

  • Burg

    Hey @Nick,

    Can you post the particulars for Power Rangers Megaforce (1:00) and Digimon Fusion (1:30) on Nick?

    Thanks

  • CCV

    Ray Donovan’s numbers are just fine for Showtime.

  • Jon Powell

    Could you post numbers for how ‘America The Wild’ on Nat Geo Wild did?

  • Nick

    Jon, I disagree. First consider Saul. It’s a prequel which means there’s potential there to tell an origin of story on Jessie which would include cameo’s of Mr White. That can get the show off to a good start. Then there’s the origin story of the Chicken man, Mike, & Saul’s other connections & how they might have affected Jessie when he first started out in the drug trade. I think fans of BB will find that interesting. Next consider Walking Dead. There are two seasons now covering Oct-Dec, & Feb-Apr. With the exception of the trek to Atlanta’s CDC they cover a very small picture of that apocalyptic world. A spin-off can show the fans a bigger picture. Filling May-Aug, it can focus more on what world govts are doing, who’s in power, how are the fighting the hoardes, & get more WWZ like. That can even include cameo’s of the small world cast hearing that stuff over a short wave radio. I think fans of TWD will find that interesting as well.
