Survivor Blood vs. Water

Tonight, the latest installment of longrunning reality series Survivor premieres. This season, Survivor: Blood vs. Water features members of previous casts and their relatives. Last fall, Survivor: Philippines debuted to a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating on September 19, 2012. Last winter, Survivor: Caramoan, which also featured members of previous casts, premiered to a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating on February 13, 2013.  How do you think the show will fare tonight as it faces off against the second week of The X Factor? Make your predictions.

  • Matthew

I think survivor does better in fall than in spring so 3.0 or higher

  • robert

I think this will be one of the best seasons of Survivor ever.

  • Jon Powell

I’m not sure I’m excited for the setup this year but Survivor is one of my favorite shows! Hopefully it does really well.

Given the lack of any substantial competition I don’t see Survivor struggling to hit a 3 for at least the premiere.

    Big Brother : 2.7 8 million viewers

There’s a glitch with the poll where you can select multiple options.

    At one time.

Survivor: Blood vs Water premiere 2.6
Big Brother 15 season finale 2.4
    America’s Got Talent season 8 finale 2.3
    The X Factor 2.2
    Million Second Quiz 1.0

On September 19, 2012 NBC didn’t air the finale of America’s Got Talent season 7 finale against Big Brother 14’s finale. AGT’s finale was aired one week earlier. NBC showed repeats of The Voice, Law and Order SVU and Revolution. The competition will be much tougher from 9-11 pm than it was a year ago.

I’m predicting a 3.2. I think this twist will bring in more people than would have watched otherwise. Its definitely the most interesting twist the show has had in years.
