  • I Love TV!

let’s go Brooklyn 99/new girl! great hour of comedy on fox

I feel like Brooklyn 9-9 is gonna be the “the Middle” of this comedy block, if it keeps doing decent it’ll probably get moved up to 8. And idk why y’all are bashing Mindy, those numbers are pretty good vs last year’s finale and spring ratings.

  • Ben Thompson

Decent ratings for FOX. Only Mindy didn’t do so well. We’ll see what happens next week but they’re probably feeling good right now.

Why is the CW airing the finale of Whose line next week, when they could have just done a one hour finale yesterday. It’s going to get crushed against NCIS, SHIELD, and The Voice.

  • Robin

Yep I knew it whose line is the under the dome of the CW lol

  • John A

Pity New Girl didnt hit a 3.0. Great for Whose Line.

Next week could be a good test for Whose Line is it Anyway to see how it could do against heavy competition and if the CW should use it during the fall season. However, it certainly won’t be easy facing the most anticipated new show of the year, the number 1 network drama, and number 1 reality show. I could see it falling to a 0.6 rating.

FOX should just enjoy it while it lasts. These shows will probably get killed next week.

  • John A

Whose Line has been steady for weeks. It will be fine next week. Maybe it will get a 1.0.

  • Nothing But Cancellation

Dads is going to be dead soon against SHIELD and NCIS, only one tenth better than Ben & Kate.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine looks like either a bubble show or a FOX version of “The Middle” (in terms of ratings, not a hit, but a solid performer).

New Girl always skewing very young, despite the drop last season, it has a pretty good future.

Mindy is gone, I see it scoring low-1s soon.

  • r0ckmypants

@hannah – Because it’s NOT good versus last fall’s ratings and considering the rest of the lineup.

  • Guardian Owl

    @Ben Thompson
Probably as a stress test to see how much of a hit Whose Line takes when it has good competition. Whose Line had Fox competition this week and it didn’t affect its ratings at all, literally. If the show can hold with stiff competition then the CW might consider airing it outside summer programming. If the CW wanted to invest in half-hour comedies Whose Line could make great filler if they fail. Or they might use whose line as the sacrificial lamb against juggernauts line the Big Bang Theory.

  • Jenny

The big test for Brooklyn and Dads will be next week with NCIS and The Agents of Shield as competition. I expect Dads to absolutely plummet.

  • feinn

Its gonna be funny when the expensive originals does lower ratings than whose line is it anyways

  • feinn

Its gonna be funny when the expensive originals does lower ratings than whose line is it anyways.

  • charmedcraft

I liked B99 better, but DADS was pretty funny also. I’m glad WLIIA wasn’t affected by competition.

  • a p garcia

Next week is the real completion with Rvn, NCIs, and AOS on the other networks

  • Raykov

I don’t think WLIIA will suffer next week, because I just don’t see it sharing the same audience with The Voice, Agents of SHIELD or NCIS. I doubt it will fall bellow 0.8…

Next week should really tell the tale w/ NCIS & SHIELD (I’m waiting w/ baited breath)

    NG still 2.9

I loved Brooklyn nine nine. I would love fox to really give this show time. It’s a total keeper.

  • jake

New Girl is going to grow this season I’m sure.
Brooklyn 99 should be good and I’ll watch it later.
