“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” IS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM WITH ADULTS 25-54, VIEWERS AND HOUSEHOLDS
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sept. 15, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.6/10 with 5.26m viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best adults 25-54 and viewers performances since June 9, 2013. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/06) up +13% in viewers (from 4.66m) and up +6% in households (from 3.4/09).
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in both adults 25-54 (1.4/07 from 1.3/07) and viewers (5.45m from 5.05m) and up +6% in households (3.8/11 from 3.6/10) compared to last year.
Saturday’s broadcast featured Anthony Mason’s report on how the Glock handgun became popular with America’s police departments, Mark Phillips’ profile of comic-actor Ricky Gervais, Mo Rocca’s interview with Eileen Rockefeller, Nancy Giles’ interview with makeup guru Bobbi Brown, and Tracy Smith’s trip backstage with members of the band Earth, Wind & Fire.
