NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Guess TFIG ain’t happening any time soon!

  • rob60990

The Neighbors bombed ans dragged the rest of ABC down with it. What a surprise. Paul Lee continues to run this network into the ground with his stupid decisions.

  • JayZ

LOL. & it’s a shame . the neighbors is actually a cmdunny show

  • Joe

Think ABC is regretting renewing The Neighbors yet?

  • JJF

The Neighbors didn’t drag anything down. lol And it didn’t really bomb harder than anything else in the slot would’ve. Or do we somehow think MC would’ve done so much better? lol

  • MJ

HAHA..I LOVE IT!!!!! Great move canceling Malibu Country for The Neighbors!!!! Season Premiere and you cant even beat Malibu Country on one of their worst weeks. Good Luck for the rest of the season ABC…JERKS!!!!

  • Austin

The Neighbors is a good show. However, it will be cancelled sometime before it finishes airing all of its episodes.

  • ryan

Hahaha. I am going to enjoy watching the Neighbors go down in flames :D

  • David James

Rather abysmal across all the Nets I must say

Perhaps its all the baseball playoffs & all the HS football coverage that may be to blame (at least for me it was)

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

75% retention from a show completely incompatible with yours is really good for The Neighbors. Love that show. Best line:
“We thought ‘Smash’ was going to last forever!”
    “Not even a pity-move to Fridays …”

  • Mitchell

Meh, if LMS could only get a 1.5, then I doubt Malibu Country would have done much better than a 1.2 anyway. Must’ve been some cost related issues in keeping The Neighbors over MC, as moving it seemed like a pretty lateral move.

  • Brad

Things might recover when the network is airing new episodes of all it’s shows.

Do most people even know shows are back?

  • John A

Not a shock about The Neighbors. Maybe Suburgatory might have worked better at 8.30pm. You would thinkk H50 and Blue Bloods would be repeating a bit better than that with next week them being back.

  • Matt

Shark Tank and Last Man Standing have proven to do very well for Friday shows on ABC, a hit-or-miss network. There wasn’t much promotion for LMS, so I see why it returned that way, same for Shark Tank. I can see both shows rising quickly during the year like they did last year. The Neighbors is dragging them down, in my opinion. Malibu Country worked GREAT with LMS. Both multi-camera, both featuring sitcom veterans, and both achieved GREAT ratings for Friday comedies and supposed revived comedy block. I can see ABC cancelling The Neighbors, and replacing it with a multi-cam comedy by next season.

  • Randy

As a fan of Malibu Country, I hope The Neighbors drops below 1.0 in the coming weeks.

  • Michael

Damn! The Neighbors deserves much better!

  • Michael

Bye “the neighbors” that’s pretty sad it was actually a funny show

  • Mitchell

So, I guess bitter Malibu Country fans are the new bitter Secret Circle fans. You can all laugh at the Neighbors’ poor ratings, but at least it’s still on the air.

  • James

    Should’ve renewed Malibu Country!!!
